My sweet friend, Sue challenged us to learn something new and post about it. I decided to try making some of those cute Sour Cream Containers that I saw all over blogland not too long ago. I used Beate's tutorial over at SplitcoastStampers, which was very easy to follow, and so much fun!!
For my snowman container, I used the new Winter Wonderland papers from Lizzie Anne Designs. Scor-Tape and my crimper worked just fine to keep it closed. The clear card stock container was embossed with my Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder. I used my clear Sticky Strip, but it didn't stay closed for long...even after I crimped it. I ended up using a staple as well, which didn't really matter after all...since I covered it with ribbon. For both tags, I used my Glad Tidings stamp set. (For a better view, just click on the picture).
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a nice day!!

Adorable! Love these! I made an embossed clear sour cream container recently but never posted it. Mine wouldn't stay closed either so I used eyelets--worked great. Gosh, I never thought of staples. That's a fabulous idea!
I love both of these. Very clever to use the acetate. I've never made these so I'm thinking that may be my thing to learn this next week. Thanks for taking the challenge, Rose Ann.
