Stamp Simply with JustRite

I wanted to try Sharon's Stamp Simply Krafty Black Challenge (ssnotime108), so I pulled out my JustRite Stamps, and made this. The stamps, Bow Easy, and yummy ribbon were all purchased at Sharon's store. The white is actually an off-white, but it looks more like regular white in the photo...and it is embossed with the new Victoria Cuttlebug folder. I have also glued some Crystal Tiny Twinkles on a couple of the flower centers for just a touch of sparkle.

Stamps: Thinking of You (JustRite Stampers)
Card Stock: Kraft, Black, Neenah Natural White
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black
Accessories: Oval & Scalloped Oval Nestabilities, Bow Easy, Silk Ribbon, Victoria Cuttlebug Folder, Scotch Foam Tape, Glue Dots, Tombo Glue, Taylor's Tiny Twinkles

Thanks for stopping by, and have a wonderful weekend!!

Stamp Simply "Lovely Lace"

It's Friday, and that means it's time to 'Stamp Simply'. Today we are focusing on using:
Lovely Lace (ssnotime98) - Today’s challenge is to incorporate lace into your work. It can be real lace, punched lace, stamped lace, sticker lace — anything at all - as long as we have lace to grace our creation! That’s it - have fun!!!
Please be sure to stop by the blogs of the Stamp Simply Challenge Team, and check out their beautiful lacy creations:
Stamps: Beautiful You (Verve)
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, White, Whisper Collection (Prima)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Antique Linen Distress Ink (Ranger)
Accessories: Labels Two Nestabilites, Eyelet Border punch, Prima Lace & Flower, Fresh Favorites Button (SU), Tan Scrapper's Floss (Karen Foster), Scotch Foam Tape, Scor-Tape, Scor Pal, Stix 2 Adhesive Punch Sheet

I followed the Fan Fold Flower Tutorial by Bonnie Szwalkiewicz at SCS to make my flower, and also watched Beate's video. Both are wonderful!

I used a sentiment from Beautiful You (Verve), and my Prima Whisper Collection pack from Jacksonbelle Embellishments (purchased a while ago) to create my card!! The collection is so pretty, and the flowers and lace are included!

In non-stamping news....we have been super busy around the house, so I haven't had much time on the computer at all. We are getting ready to replace some windows, a slider door, our roof, and siding, and we'll probably replace our deck with a patio as well. I can see some major chaos in our very near future, but I plan to create as often as I can (stress reliever). I may turn off comments, but I hope you'll still come and take a peek. I know I will be checking your creations via my Reader, as much as I can...as I am so inspired by all of you!!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!!

Stamp Simply "Fruit of the Vine"

It's time to Stamp Simply (ssnotime97) again, and this time we are featuring:
"Fruit of the Vine" - Today let us whip up some fruity type of creation during this time of year when fruit is so plentiful everywhere. I’m sure most everyone has some fruit stamps, or images, and if you don’t, how about trying to create some fruit with punches? Or, if you really need to stretch it, how about some *orange* ribbon, watermelon paper, etc. I think you get the idea — just get fruity and have a little fun!
Check out the great samples for the Stamp Simply Challenge today on the blogs of these designers:
Sharon, Deb, Jennifer, Janine, Julie, AJ, Tammy, Barbara, and Jenny.

Here's my sample using the Lizzie Anne Designs August Monthly Mix.

Stamps: August '09 Monthly Mix (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Card Stock: Apricot Appeal, White, Soft Suede (textured), Sugared (BasicGrey)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Apricot Appeal, Copic markers
Accessories: Circle & Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, Coluzzle with Circle template, Eyelet Border punch, Modern Label punch, Beachfront Ribbon Originals (retired SU)

This card is also for the DTGD09 challenges (DTGD09lauraly, DTGD09TruCarMa, DTGD09blondie090277) over at Splitcoaststampers.

Stamp Simply "Little Black Dress"

It's Friday again (where did the week go?), and it's time for another Stamp Simply Challenge.

Here's what's going on this week: (ssnotime96) Little Black Dress - The staple of every woman’s wardrobe. Today’s challenge is to make a project of understated elegance using black and white. If you need to add in a little pop of another color, that’s fine, as long as the project is primarily black and white and its overall feel is that of understated elegance.

Here are the links to the gorgeous creations Sharon's team have made up to show you:
Sharon, Jennifer, Janine, Julie, AJ, Deb, Tammy, Barbara, Jenny. I have taken a peek at them...and they are beauties, I tell ya!!

My card and box are Black and Off-White...and there is a bit of Gray in there as well. (I hope that's okay.) I finally tried out my Matchbox Die, and the box was quite easy to put together. I was thinking of trying out one of the new SU Simply Adorned Charms (when they are available to purchase), and enclosing one inside the little box (after I decorate it, of course). This would make a lovely encouragement gift for a friend, don't you agree?

Stamps: Serenity (Verve)
Card Stock: Basic Black, Crate Avenue (Crate Paper)
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black
Accessories: Labels One Nestabilites, Sizzix Matchbox Die (SU), 3/8 & 7/8 inch Organdy ribbon (retired SU), Joy Crafts pearls, Scotch Foam tape

Thanks for dropping by today!! I hope you all have a wonderful weekend!!

Stamp Simply "Let the Sparks Fly!"

It's Friday, and that means it's time for another Stamp Simply Challenge.
ssnotime95 Let the Sparks Fly!- Let’s make some sparks of our own today — or at least *sparkles* — today let us use glitter, generous amounts of glitter (if you like) so our creations sparkle away and catch the eye. (If you are not a glitter user, then just make sure you add some sparkly feature to your project!)
Great inspiration can be found at the Websites of the team members:

Here's mine:
Stamps: Cheerleader & Everyday Sayings (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Card Stock: Taken with Teal, White (Georgia Pacific), Basic Black
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers
Accessories: Finial Press Textured Impressions folder (SU), Circle/Scalloped Circle & Inverted Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, Stix 2 PVA Glues & Glitters, Black Organdy ribbon, Scotch Foam Tape

I decided to use my new Cheerleader single today, and "sparkled up" her pom poms with the Stix 2 glitters. I created the texture with my new Finial Press folder from Spellbinders.

Thanks for your visit, as always!! Happy Friday!!

Stamp Simply "Stars and Stripes"

I am so honored to be Sharon's Stamp Simply Guest Designer for the month of July! Thanks so much Sharon! I am humbled to work along side your talented team of designers!!

Here's this weeks' challenge (ssnotime94): Stars and Stripes - In honor of the 4th of July, we are to incorporate stars and stripes into our work. Making a patriotic card is totally OK, but you NEED NOT make your card patriotic. As long as you have some stars and stripes somewhere in your creation, you are good to go!

Feel free to play along...and please let me know if you do, so I can come check it out! ☺

Here are the awesome team members' creations for inspiration:
Sharon, Janine, Jennifer, Julie, AJ, Tammy, Barbara, Jenny, and of course, Deb (so sorry I missed linking you earlier!)....and here's mine:

Stamps: God Bless the USA (Simply Single from Lizzie Anne Designs)
Card Stock: Vintage Cream (PTI), Stars & Stripes (digital paper from LAD)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Riding Hood Red, B97 Copic marker
Accessories: Deckled Rectangle Nestabilites, Stitched Ribbon (PTI), Star Rhinestones, Scotch Foam tape

Of course I had to go the patriotic way, and use my new God Bless the USA LAD single and Stars & Stripes digital papers (both are the special this week).

Thanks for stopping by today!! If I don't make it back here tomorrow...I hope you all have a fabulous 4th!!
