Hello everyone! I'm using Flower Soft Toppers for today's card. (Direct links are provided in the recipe below, if you're interested.) I love using toppers when I don't have time to color, and their generous size is perfect for quick cards. Of course, the addition of Flower Soft gives that special touch as well! Card Stock: Lemon Tart (PTI), Just For You digi paper (Flower Soft)
Ink: Pretty In Pink

Mother's Day 2010

A belated Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there! This was my Mother's Day card for this year. I used Insightful Meadows (Unity) for the flowers, and the sentiment is from Lizzie Anne Designs. The Fabriano card stock gives such a nice richness, and I added Flower Soft for a realistic flower look (the next best thing to the real thing).

Stamps: Insightful Meadow (Unity), Wonderful Mother (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Card Stock: Fabriano
Ink: Forest Moss Distress Ink (Ranger)
Accessories: Baby Pink Flower Soft, PVA Glue (Flower Soft), Silk Ribbon (from Sharon Johnson's Store)

It was raining and nasty around here on Friday, so I decided to take my daughter to the Great Lakes Mega Meet. I was able to pick up a few goodies, and I also had the opportunity to see Tim Holtz work his magic at his booth. I would love to go to one (or more) of his classes some day...but I will definitely have to leave my little one behind. She was so antsy that I was only able to stay for a short while.

Flower Soft Hop & Zach's Card

Hi everyone! It's time for a Design Team Hop, and today the Flower Soft Design Team will be sharing some creations they made using both the original Flower Soft, and the Ultra Fine Flower Soft. In my sample, I've used Flower Soft Toppers, and added texture to the greens and flowers with Flower Soft. Ultra Fine Sage was used for the greens, and Sunshine YellowBaby Pink was used for the flowers. I used the Labels Ten Spellbinders to create the unique shape.
(Click photo for detailed view)
Toppers: Garden Borders & Baskets, Baskets & Butterflies Sentiments (Flower Soft)
Card Stock: Old Olive
Ink: Old Olive
Accessories: Sage Ultra Fine Flower Soft, Sunshine Yellow & Baby Pink (regular) Flower Soft, Flower Soft PVA Glue, Labels Ten (Spellbinders), 2mm Baby Pink Silk Ribbon (Flower Soft), Foam Tape

To continue on the hop, you'll want to head on over to Vicki Garrett's blog now!

This next card is a card that I CASed from Stephanie Lanzalotto at My~Ink~Well. I totally loved the Cast-a-Spell paper with the Inkadinkado guitar, and I changed things up a little. This card was for my son, who celebrated his 12th birthday on Saturday. He thought it was pretty cool.

Stamps: Rock Star (Inkadinkado)
Card Stock: Black, White, Cast-A-Spell (SU)
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, Opaque Pen (Inkssentials)
Accessories: Paper Piercer & Template (SU), Star Brads (SU), Scotch foam tape

Freakin' Adorable

I know I've been a bit out of the loop lately, but I'm still here. Everything is fine... I just haven't been stamping much. This project was sitting on my desk for a very long time, and I just finished it yesterday. I love these cutie Unity owls, and I originally stamped and colored them. They looked horrible, so I ended up stamping them on some Creamy Caramel card stock and trimming them out (much better). I stamped them one final time, and trimmed out the eyes and beaks. They were adhered to the little owls, and colored with Copic markers. The owls are "standing" on some Sand Ultra Fine Flower Soft, and the patterned paper is Nutmeg (Cosmo Cricket). Twill is from PaperTrey Ink, and the brad is from SU.

Stamps: Freakin' Adorable (Unity Stamps)
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Vintage Cream (PTI), Nutmeg (Cosmo Cricket)
Ink: Rich Cocoa (Memento), Copic Markers
Accessories: Labels 7 (Spellbinders), Sand Ultra Fine Flower Soft, Dark Chocolate Twill (PTI), brad (SU), Scalloped Edge punch (SU), Tombo Mono Multi Glue, Flower Soft Glue

Have any of you been keeping up with Molly (the most famous barn owl) and her brood? I have been addicted to watching ever since Kristina mentioned it at her blog a while back. The Royal family is so generous to devote their time, and share these incredible creatures with us all 24/7 !! I have pre-ordered my Eric Blehm eBook, signed up for John Atkinson's eComic Strip, and have a Molly Mug on the way to me. Addicted? Why yes, I am.

Out of the Box with Flower Soft

I'm so sorry I am late in getting this posted for today's Flower Soft Hop! The team will be showing you different ways to use Flower Soft other than the "obvious" way. ;) I have used some Scor-Tape and applied my Black Ultra Fine Flower Soft to create a "flocked" background. I'm not sure how the tape will hold over time, but I'm sure you could do the same with your Flower Soft Glue and a steady hand.

Stamps: Following My Heart (Aug '09 Unity KOTM)
Card Stock: PaperTrey Ink
Ink: Onyx Black VersaFine
Accessories: 1/2 inch Scor-Tape, Black Ultra Fine Flower Soft, Corner Chomper (We R Memory Keepers)

Hello everyone! Today I am participating in a Flower Soft Design Team Blog Hop. Our challenge is to use any of the Moments In Time Toppers or Stamps. You should be coming over here via Jacque's amazing blog. If you're not, you may want to start from the beginning at the Flower Soft Blog, so you can be sure to check out everyone's Moments In Time creations.

Ink: Forest Moss Distress (Ranger)

Because these Toppers are already so beautifully colored, I thought I would add some dimension to them, as well as some Sage and Sand Ultra Fine Flower Soft.

I made the pretty flower using Corie's tutorial here, and used my Citrus Crush Ultra Fine Flower Soft in the center.
