Hey...long time no post!  That's pretty much been the norm here, but I'll keep posting when I create new stuff.

For the Birds Team Challenge

It's that time of the month where the Gourmet Rubber Stamps Team is up for a challenge once again. "For The Birds" is the theme, and I grabbed my Birdcages Coveralls stamp. I've embossed the image with black detail powder, and created the glow in the background with my Gelatos. I've used mulberry paper as an accent, because I thought it resembled feathers. (How many of you still have that stuff hanging around?) The sentiment is from Vintage Verses.

Stamps: Birdcages Coveralls, Vintage Verses
Card Stock: Black, White, Daffodil Delight, White Mulberry Paper
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Versamark, Peach Parfait, Only Orange
Accessories: Grand Labels Twenty-Three, Fancy Tags 2, Long Rectangles, Black Detail Embossing Powder, Gelatos, Foam Tape

Smooch Glitz

You may have noticed my last few posts have had sparkly accents, and that is because the Product Focus Review Team is reviewing Smooch Glitz today on Splitcoaststampers. There's lots of great info, so check it out when you get a chance. ;)

I've made a couple of holiday cards. My first is for St. Patrick's Day, and uses a couple of images from Abracadabra. The sentiment is from an older Lizzie Anne Designs image (currently unavailable). I've used Smooch Glitz on the rainbow, clouds, gold, and shamrock. The papers are from The Green Stack (DCWV).

My second card is a very CAS one-layer card. These images are from Prescription for Spring from Gourmet Rubber Stamps. I've stamped the eggs in different colors all over the tree, and added my Smooch Glitz once again. The edging was created with Adorning Accents Textured Impressions & Edgelits from SU.

Corner Bookmarks

Hello everyone! I've made these corner bookmarks for Gourmet Rubber Stamps Monthly Dish Newsletter. If you're subscribed, you've probably already seen them...and the step-by-step instructions I've written to help you create some of your own. If not, you can click on the link above to bring you where you need to go, to sign up for the newsletter. You'll see the spot on the lower left of the main page.

I don't know about you all, but I tend to read more during the colder seasons. I thought it would be a good time to create some bookmarks to share. I considered adding ribbon, and bling to dress these up a bit, but changed my mind because I wanted to keep the bulk to a minimum. I hope you like them.

Kids' Ornaments

Hello everyone! Today I am showing some ornaments the kids made for their grandparents. They requested some for their little table-top tree, and this is what the kids made. I think they did a good job, don't you?

Zach made a deer clip out of a clothespin with some paint and googlie eyes. Lance made the shrink ornaments using some Lizzie Anne Designs Images (found at Gourmet Rubber Stamps).

Brooke made these with her peg board beads.

Hello everyone! We are really on the Christmas countdown now, aren't we? I have much to do yet, and I don't know how soon I'll be able to post again before Christmas. Today I've decided to show you a few of the last minute cards I made (mass-production style), so that I could finish my cards and get them out. Minimal layers, accessories, and coloring...but still quite pretty. The stamps are all Lizzie Anne Designs which you may find at Gourmet Rubber Stamps.

Stamps used: Snow Globe single stamp

Stamps used: Holiday Script set

(This is very similar to a card I found on the web, but I can't remember where. If it's yours...let me know and I will give credit where it's due.)
