Hello there! I've made a card for my daughter for her birthday, and thought I would blog it. It's nothing out of my normal type of card, but I thought the image was so adorable, and I wanted to share. It is called "happiness is.." and is a Phyllis Harris & Unity stamp set.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you're all have a wonderful Easter and spring break with your friends and family.
Hugs,
Rose Ann

I Stamped
Gosh...it's been so long since I've been here, I feared I'd forgotten how this all worked. I guess I've done it enough in the past...the cobwebs in my brain didn't hinder me too much.
I've shocked myself, and actually stamped a couple of cards after an almost three-month hiatus from stamping. I'm not really sure why I'm keeping this blog, other than the fact that it's a good collection of my creations over the years. ☺
My mother's birthday is tomorrow, and I wanted to stamp a card for her. I've kept the card CAS, and have used my Serene Silhouettes for the main image. The sentiment is from the Well Scripted set, and the image is framed with my Spellbinders Floral Oval die.
Always a fan of one-layers cards, I thought I would try one of those as well. This time I'm using my Insightful Meadows set from Unity, and some Pool Party card stock.

Mother's Day 2010
A belated Happy Mother's Day to all of the moms out there! This was my Mother's Day card for this year. I used Insightful Meadows (Unity) for the flowers, and the sentiment is from Lizzie Anne Designs. The Fabriano card stock gives such a nice richness, and I added Flower Soft for a realistic flower look (the next best thing to the real thing).

It was raining and nasty around here on Friday, so I decided to take my daughter to the Great Lakes Mega Meet. I was able to pick up a few goodies, and I also had the opportunity to see Tim Holtz work his magic at his booth. I would love to go to one (or more) of his classes some day...but I will definitely have to leave my little one behind. She was so antsy that I was only able to stay for a short while.

Thanks for stopping by today!

Freakin' Adorable
I know I've been a bit out of the loop lately, but I'm still here. Everything is fine... I just haven't been stamping much. This project was sitting on my desk for a very long time, and I just finished it yesterday. I love these cutie Unity owls, and I originally stamped and colored them. They looked horrible, so I ended up stamping them on some Creamy Caramel card stock and trimming them out (much better). I stamped them one final time, and trimmed out the eyes and beaks. They were adhered to the little owls, and colored with Copic markers. The owls are "standing" on some Sand Ultra Fine Flower Soft, and the patterned paper is Nutmeg (Cosmo Cricket). Twill is from PaperTrey Ink, and the brad is from SU.
Stamps: Freakin' Adorable (Unity Stamps)
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Creamy Caramel, Vintage Cream (PTI), Nutmeg (Cosmo Cricket)
Ink: Rich Cocoa (Memento), Copic Markers
Accessories: Labels 7 (Spellbinders), Sand Ultra Fine Flower Soft, Dark Chocolate Twill (PTI), brad (SU), Scalloped Edge punch (SU), Tombo Mono Multi Glue, Flower Soft Glue
Have any of you been keeping up with Molly (the most famous barn owl) and her brood? I have been addicted to watching ever since Kristina mentioned it at her blog a while back. The Royal family is so generous to devote their time, and share these incredible creatures with us all 24/7 !! I have pre-ordered my Eric Blehm eBook, signed up for John Atkinson's eComic Strip, and have a Molly Mug on the way to me. Addicted? Why yes, I am.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you have a wonderful day!

Out of the Box with Flower Soft
I'm so sorry I am late in getting this posted for today's Flower Soft Hop! The team will be showing you different ways to use Flower Soft other than the "obvious" way. ;) I have used some Scor-Tape and applied my Black Ultra Fine Flower Soft to create a "flocked" background. I'm not sure how the tape will hold over time, but I'm sure you could do the same with your Flower Soft Glue and a steady hand.

Monochromatic Unity
Hello everyone! I have a CAS monochromatic card for you today, using Unity's Feel the Joy image. I love the delicacy of this image, so I kept this rather soft in color using my River Rock paper and ink. The texture is created with Retro Diamonds (Quick Kutz) folder. The ribbon is from the Fleuriste ribbon pack (Cosmo Cricket). Clean and simple is feeling real good with this design.

My children felt like stamping last night, and created these without my assistance. Of course they requested that I blog them...and I certainly couldn't refuse.

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope your week is going well!

Happy Weekend everyone!! We all have cold symptoms, so our usual routines are a little messed up. Accessories: Cuttlebug Argyle folder, Square Nestibilites, Glue Dots, Stampin' Dimensionals
I have made a card for a guy with my Unity Stamps today. I had to refrain from ribbon, flowers, bling etc... as my DH didn't think it would be a good idea to use on this. I love the image, and think it will work. What do you think? The sunshine is so cute, and I hope it doesn't make it look too much like a kids' card. Well...it's the thought that counts, right? The links to the supplies are within the recipe listed below the card.
We are off to get our taxes done soon, so I had better get going. Thanks for stopping by today, and I hope you have a nice weekend!!

When I saw that Beate had used this Ford Warrior Scarf (sold out?) as inspiration for her BIC27, I knew I had to play (I'm very, very late). My DH is an employee at Ford (for who knows how much longer), and besides... it's just so pretty.
I used my Unity Stamps (see links in the recipe section), and my new Eva BasicGray paper. The Linen Vellum is available at PaperTrey Ink.
I have a lot going on with the family, so I have not been able to blog or blurf much at all. I hope to soon, though. Thanks so much for stopping by!!

WSC62 Anniversary
Stamps: friendship. LOVE. miracles (Unity September Kit of the Month), Mixed Messages (PaperTrey Ink)
Card Stock: Chocolate Chip, Cranberry Crisp, Garden Green, Neenah Natural White, Blush (BasicGrey)
Ink: Memento Rich Cocoa, Copic Markers, Clear Spica Glitter pen
Accessories: 1 & 1¼ inch Circle punches, Photo Corner punch, Threading Water border punch (Fiskars), Clip (SU), Cranberry Crisp Stitched ribbon, Bitty Brads (CTMH), Scotch Foam tape, Crystal Effects, Glue Dots
I hope your Saturday is going well, and that you have some fun plans for the weekend. We have a busy day today, (birthday party, homework etc.) so I will have to keep this short (what's new?)
I used my September Unity Kit of the Month (the October Kit is awesome as well) to make this anniversary card. I thought the image (stamped twice) worked well with Beate's WSC62, so I went with it. My card measures 4 x 8, so I had to cut my 6 x 6 sheet of BasicGrey Blush paper accordingly. There is nothing complicated to explain here, but if you have any questions, just let me know. Other than that...I had better get back to the homework (yuck).
Thanks for visiting!!

A Bright Hello!
I am still here.....I just had a busy weekend with the family, which has kept me away. We went to the Howell Balloon Festival on Friday, and I forgot my camera. I took some pictures with my phone, but I'm not sure how to download them onto the computer. Perhaps I need special software. I do have a USB cable, so maybe I should just play around with it a bit.
This is a card I made with some bright colors that I don't use very often. It has been quite cloudy around here lately, (with only peeks of sunshine) so I thought some brighter colors might be nice. The big floral bird is from "Greatest of Friends", and the sentiment is from "Flirty Flowers"...both sets are from Unity Stamp Company. I used my markers to color in the different areas on the bird in different colors (huff & stamp). The Pixie Pink flowers were stamped twice, trimmed out, and popped on dimensionals. I used the Threading Water punch once again for the edging, and the tag was made with my Ribbon Tags Trio. The seeds on the "ground" are A Muse Twinkle Stickers.
Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you all have a fabulous week!!

Move Mountains
I have been wanting to get around to posting this all day, but I never seemed to be able to work it in. Anyhow....I am so thrilled with the newly released singles at the Unity Stamp Company. This single is called "Move Mountains" and is an unmounted stamp. I used my Whisper Collection kit that I found at Jacksonbelle Embellishments, as I thought the paper worked beautifully with the stamp. The fibers and Prima you see were include in the collection, and I just added a Making Memories velvet brad to the center of the flower. Simple, yet effective...I think.
Stamps: Move Mountains (Unity Stamp Company)
Ink: Adirondack Espresso
Accessories: Lace fibers & Prima flower (from Whisper Collection kit), In Bloom velvet brad (Making Memories), Glue Dots
I was very fortunate to receive these adorable creations made by blogging extraordinaire, Allison Fillo! I love those sweet little C.C. I'm sure you already check out Allison's blog, "Stampin' When I Can" on a regular basis...but there's the link for ya anyhow! *wink*

I hope you enjoy, and thank you for stopping by!
