Flower Soft Hop & Zach's Card

Hi everyone! It's time for a Design Team Hop, and today the Flower Soft Design Team will be sharing some creations they made using both the original Flower Soft, and the Ultra Fine Flower Soft. In my sample, I've used Flower Soft Toppers, and added texture to the greens and flowers with Flower Soft. Ultra Fine Sage was used for the greens, and Sunshine YellowBaby Pink was used for the flowers. I used the Labels Ten Spellbinders to create the unique shape.
(Click photo for detailed view)
Toppers: Garden Borders & Baskets, Baskets & Butterflies Sentiments (Flower Soft)
Card Stock: Old Olive
Ink: Old Olive
Accessories: Sage Ultra Fine Flower Soft, Sunshine Yellow & Baby Pink (regular) Flower Soft, Flower Soft PVA Glue, Labels Ten (Spellbinders), 2mm Baby Pink Silk Ribbon (Flower Soft), Foam Tape

To continue on the hop, you'll want to head on over to Vicki Garrett's blog now!

This next card is a card that I CASed from Stephanie Lanzalotto at My~Ink~Well. I totally loved the Cast-a-Spell paper with the Inkadinkado guitar, and I changed things up a little. This card was for my son, who celebrated his 12th birthday on Saturday. He thought it was pretty cool.

Stamps: Rock Star (Inkadinkado)
Card Stock: Black, White, Cast-A-Spell (SU)
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, Opaque Pen (Inkssentials)
Accessories: Paper Piercer & Template (SU), Star Brads (SU), Scotch foam tape

Halloween & Decorative Edges

Do you find using decorative edge scissors tedious and frustrating even though you love the look they give? If you do, you may want to check out the Creatopia and Cutz component. There are many different cartridges available for the Cutz, and I have used a couple different cartridges on my Halloween cards I'm featuring today. Here's a link to Beate's Tutorial, and to the main page of the SCS Product Review so that you may check out this feature of the Creatopia

Inkadinkado-O

Card Stock: Fabriano note cards
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, Stampin' Write Markers: Only Orange, Brocade Blue
Accessories: Orange satin ribbon, Bitty Brads (CTMH)

Here's a couple of cards for you single-layer lovers. I used my yummy new Fabriano note cards from Starlit Studio, and beautiful Inkadinkado stamps from Jacksonbelle Embellishments. I needed to do some "quickie" cards, as my son wasn't feeling very well last night...(so I've had about three hours of sleep). I'm trying to decide if I need to take him in to see the Dr., but you know how it goes...they always seem to be way worse at night.

Take care, and thanks for stopping!!

My sister has a new kitty named Spooky. I made this Bag-a-lope, and filled it with some milk rings for her to play with (I guess she enjoys them a lot, but of course...under supervision). The images are from the Inkadinkado Cats and Bats sets (I found at Jacksonbelle Embellishments). "Spooky" is from the Trick or Treat sentiment set from Starving Artistamps.

I hope you all have a great Sunday, and thanks for stopping by!!

Happy Haunting

I had to make another flap card. Why, do you ask? Well...I had the card stock and patterned paper already cut and ready to go for my little witch flap card (I posted a week ago). The patterned paper really didn't work with the style of my witch, but I think it goes really well with this one. The stamps are from the Cats and Bats clear set from Inkadinkado. The patterned paper is from the Haunted collection from Cosmo Cricket. The Inka set and designer paper were both purchased at Jacksonbelle Embellishments. I made the photo corner after seeing Chat's card here. (Thanks for sharing that, Chat!) The cool swirl sheer ribbon was purchased at Taylor's store. Pearls are Martha Stewart.

Stamps: Cats and Bats (Inkadinkado)
Card Stock: Really Rust, Basic Black, Plum Pudding (PTI), Haunted collection (Cosmo Cricket)
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black, Antique Linen Distress (Ranger), Really Rust
Accessories: Scor-Pal, Petite Oval Nestabilities, Coluzzle with Circle template, Scalloped Square & Photo Corner punches (SU), Pearl stickers (Martha Stuart), Stampin' Dimensionals, swirl organdy ribbon, magnetic snaps (BasicGrey)

Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Have a great day!!

Can you believe...

...that I've been working on this same card for the last couple of days? Of course it hasn't been constant, but I just kept changing everything. Ribbon, accent colors, etc.

I used my sassy little Elzybell stamp (isn't she cute?), and a computer generated sentiment (punched with my Word Window punch). The card base is from the A Muse 4 Bar Notecard Kitchen Collection. The scalloping at the bottom was done with the corner rounder punch. Rhinestones are Hero Arts. The little dress was paper pieced, and the rest was colored with my Copic Sketch markers.
