Fayette Page

Hello everyone!  Today I have a scrapbook page to share, so that's quite a surprise.  ;)  I've used some photos taken during a trip we took to Fayette this August in the U.P. of Michigan.  It was such a gorgeous day, and though it was our third time there...it was the best!  There weren't very many other tourists around, and we took our time exploring the buildings, looking at artifacts, reading all of the self-guided posts...and just taking the whole thing in.  Lance even found a bone when we were walking along the area where the middle class families used to live.  We later received a call from Fayette stating that it was a bone from a pig, and was probably cut by a butcher in Fayette.

The patterned paper for this page is from Michaels, and I've done all of my cropping, wavy border, and circular photo using the Perfect Squares tool.  The heading is Thickers, and the daises are Martha Stewart.  If you would like to learn more about the Perfect Squares tool, check out our reviews and samples over at Splitcoaststampers today.

Stamps:  Travel Log (SU)

Ink:  Fresh Snow, Inkssentials Opaque pen, Printer Ink

Thanks for stopping by, and I hope you have a great day!!

Gorgeous layout Rose Ann, I love the wavy border and sweet little calendar marking the date! The colours in your paper work so perfectly with the colours in the photos.

Maybe you will be like me and end up doing more scrap pages than anything else...ha ha! This is lovely...like the tree border along the top and the wavy border to evoke the ground. And a round pic...I need to do that! Off to check out the tut!
