Skating Love

Hello everyone! We haven't had much of a winter this year (not that I'm complaining), but I was hoping to take my son ice skating to see if he can get the feel of the ice. He loves hockey and in-line skating, so I thought this would be the next step. I don't trust the ice tho, so I haven't taken him.

Well, you don't need ice for this skater. It's my Skating in Central Park Stick Chicks. I've used my Marbled Paper Coveralls for the background, and it reminded me of a frosted window. I used clear embossing powder, and my metallic Gelatos for the resist effect. It sure is glossy and shimmery IRL! The heart was die cut with my Punch Windows Mover's and Shapers Die (SU), and the base is Grand Nestabilities.

Stamps: Skating in Central Park (Stick Chicks), Marbled Paper Coveralls, So Much Love (LAD)
Card Stock: Fabriano Watercolor Paper, Natural White, Red Corrugated Cardboard
Ink: VersaMark, Tuxedo Black, Red, Copic Markers, Clear Spica Glitter Pen
Accessories: Square & Scalloped Square Grand Nestabilities, Circle & Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, Punch Windows Movers & Shapers Die (SU), Clear Embossing Powder, Metallic Blue Gelatos (Faber Castell), Gesso (Faber Castell), Glue Dots, Foam Tape
A closer look at the gloss and shimmer

We haven't had much of a winter here, believe it or not, we've only been out sledding once as we have no snow! Not that I'm complaining either ;) hehe!

The perfect background for the skater! I love this...and I'm sure it's way prettier in real life. That's the way it is sometimes, but it's still really pretty!
