Cards for Guys

Hello everyone! Today I'm showing you a couple of cards I've made with the guys in mind. I always find these particularly difficult, but I think it helps when you have stamps that work for them.

The first card uses some vintage images from Abracadabra (the February Diner's Club Set). I've used the Emboss Resist technique on this one, and I'm liking the different look it gives.

Stamps: Abracadabra Diner's Club Set
Card Stock: Sage Shadow, Early Espresso, Classic Cream
Ink: Rich Cocoa, Antique Linen, Sage Shadow, VersaMark
Accessories: Deckle Scissors, Circle Punch, Houndstooth Embossing Folder, Clear Embossing Powder, Foam Tape

Next up is a card with some fun Cosmo Cricket Joy Ride paper, and my Good Company stamp. I think they work pretty well together, don't you?

Stamps: Good Company Single
Card Stock: Crushed Curry, Black, Joy Ride (Cosmo Cricket)
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Crushed Curry, More Mustard
Accessories: Oval Nestabilities

Thanks for stopping by!

Both great cards! I love the emboss resist on the first card, it really gives it depth.

And those little vehicles are just so cute on that paper!

I so agree about guy cards. You nailed it with these, Rose Ann. Simple and manly. Love the paper on the second card.
