Back to Monday

Hello there! Today I am playing with my SU Bird Chipboard. Since I really don't scrap much, I decided to make a card cover with one of my birds, rather than an keepsake book. I am using Bittersweet papers from BasicGrey to cover the board. The wing was hand drawn, and adhered with Dimensionals. The ribbon is retired FairyTale ribbon, and the felt flower is from the new Sweet Pea Stitched Felt Collection. Because the paper has hearts all over it (purposely), I may use this as a non-traditional Valentine for my mom.
On Board Book Bird (SU)
Card Stock: White, Bittersweet (BasicGrey)
Ink: Close to Cocoa
Accessories: FairyTale Ribbon Originals, Sweet Pea Stitched Felt, Tombo Glue, BasicGrey File Set, Glue Dots, Fiskars Fingertip Craft Knife, Sponge

Next up...I have a simple card using a beautiful image from Singing in the Rain (February 2010 Monthly Mix/Lizzie Anne Designs). Apron Lace punch was used on the bottom edge. The ribbon is just some I had in my ribbon scraps, and the button is PTI.
Stamps: Singing in the Rain-February 2010 Monthly Mix (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Card Stock: Black, Ambrosia (BasicGrey)
Ink: VersaFine Onyx Black
Accessories: Apron Lace Punch (Fiskars)

Thanks for dropping by!

Oh wow! Your bird is beautiful - I LOVE that you put a wing on her! How smart! I think your mom (or anyone) would love to receive this pretty thing!

Your 2nd card is great - and could easily be a masculine one. I like the stamp you used, and your black scalloped border goes great with the papers you used. Great card!
