Decorate the Tree

Stamps: Small Dots background, Santa's Sweet Shoppe, Casual Holiday Greetings,
Card Stock: Kiwi Kiss, Real Red, Pure Luxury White (Gina K. Designs)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Close to Cocoa, VersaMark, Copic markers, Gold Spica glitter pen
Accessories: Stickles, Alpine Ribbon Originals (SU)
Hi everyone! This is the other card that I had mentioned yesterday. Do you have your tree up yet? We do not, but will probably attempt it this coming weekend. It's sooo much work, but really makes the home festive, doesn't it?

I used my DoodleFactory Santa's Sweet Shoppe stamps once again for my card. The colors are not correct in the photo. Kiwi is the base, and the accent color is red (almost looks pink here). I will try to play around with it, if I get a chance.

I was laying in bed pondering this idea of a card, and I'm glad it ended up working out pretty well. I omitted the star from the tree, and stamped it on a small scrap so that I could help Butterscot place the star himself (with Marmalade's help...of course). The tree has red Stickles all over it, and is popped with foam tape. The star is popped as well, and colored with my Gold Spica glitter pen. Marmalade's crown is also colored with Spica pens. The ribbon is stitched felt from SU. Chalk up another Christmas card. *wink*

Thanks so much for stopping by today!!

We have the lights up outside. I wanted to get the tree up this past weekend, but it didn't happen. Next weekend...as in this Saturday...it WILL be going up. I saw some Christmas tree pics in the blogging world yesterday and now I can't wait. :)

Another adorable card!! :)

This is adorable! I love the tiny dots - at first I thought it was a patterned paper! Great job coloring and, of course, that ribbon is my favorite!

This card made me SMILE! It's totally adorable!

LOL we don't have our trip up yet...probably on Saturday! We are some of those nerdy people that don't take our outdoor lights down anymore. I bought the kind that the paint doesn't peel off the lights...think they are LCD...anyway we have them tucked under the eves so you don't really see them. Besides we put them up before snow and after it's gone...which would be October til April...why bother right?!

ps: We've got a big old bookshelf waiting to be sold, sitting in the area where we put our tree. I hope it's gone soon. Putting lights up in a couple of days. I've been too busy to think about decorating yet, darn it!
