A Quick Card

Not a creative title, I know. ;) I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!! It was chilly here, so we stayed in for the most part. (I'm not ready for it to be cool this soon).

I made this quick card on Saturday, and I love the simple layout and Pretty Papers. I used my new Circle Sentiments set for the fun greeting. The edging was done with my Doily Lace Edge punch by Martha Stewart. This punch does not like my heavy weight SU papers, but seems to work okay with designer papers.

 Stamps: Circle Sentiments
Card Stock: PaperTrey White, French Floral Pretty Papers, Barely Banana
Ink: Mellow Moss, Barely Banana
Accessories: Scalloped Circle Nestabilities, Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder, BasicGrey "Oh Baby" ribbon, Scotch foam tape.

I have some running to do today, so I had better get going. I hope you all have a great week, and I hope to catch up with you in blog land!

Love your card ROse Ann! I too had the same problem with MS and Fiskars decorative punches. The thin paper is good though! Yours looks so nice! Great RAKS! Have a great week! Hugs, Deb

Those ARE pretty papers--a design from one of their prettiest sets! I just love the subtle, soft colors on your card. Hmmmm...so the doily punch doesn't like SU! CS...I'll keep that in mind if I ever get my hands on it. Beautiful RAKs you received, too! It's always such a treat to receive a hand-stamped card in the mail!
