Trash Bin?

Okay...so my DH doesn't care for this card at all. I love monochromatic cards personally, and the Thomas Kinkade images are perfect for them (IMHO). So....this was a dud for the DD gallery this month, but if you would like to see what made it in...click here (you must be a fan club member of Splitcoaststampers to view this gallery). Welcome the awesome new "Dirty Girls", and check out the fantastic gallery this month. You won't be disappointed! This is the last time you'll see my creations in this gallery, tho. :( Can you believe six months can go by so quickly?? Well...maybe I'll be able to keep up with my blog a bit more, and my blurfing that I'm so addicted to as well. *wink*

Stamps: It Doesn't Get Much Better (Thomas Kinkade Collection/Cornish Heritage Farms, Montana Tree Bark (Cornish Heritage Farms), Adorable (CTMH)
Card Stock: Close to Cocoa, Vanilla
Ink: Adirondack Espresso, Chocolate Chip Craft
Accessories: Twill Tape, Antique Brass Hodgepodge, Small Oval Punch

As always, thanks for visiting!!

I think it's great, except maybe the twill ribbon is a bit too stark against the darker colors? Maybe without it, it would look just right!

I think this is wonderful! The image is stamped beautifully and that is not easy feat with the TK stamps! Can't believe it's been 6 months already! You certainly did a wonderful job and I can't wait to see what else you have to share with us on your blog! Take care!

So your husband didn't like this card...? Looks like bliss to me. I love it! But, like you, I love the monochromatic TK images. It's beautiful, Rose Ann. The background and colors are perfect for it. Gosh, I forgot about the new DD Gallery opening. Dang, I'll have to go take a look. Thanks for the reminder! I know you'll enjoy more time for other things now that you're done. Love this card, except that I think the ribbon takes away from the simplicity of the image. Sometimes I find myself trying TOO hard to embellish something simple!
