Flourishes has some of the most elegant stamps, and this tree from the Flourished Christmas set is no exception. I had the idea to use my Nestabilities to cut the largest scalloped square I could for the flat, one-layer base. I used my gold Zig Painty to color the edges of the scallops to match the gold card that I adhered to the base. The tree was stamped with VersaMark, and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. The ribbon is Gold Organdy, retired from SU. I stamped and embossed the little sentiment you see, but couldn't decide where to place it. In the end...I just left it off. WOW! I think it's quite elegant and stunning! I agree that sometimes, it isn't easy to figure out just where to put a sentiment. And, in some cases, the card is just as beautiful without it. In this instance, I think it's quite breathtaking as it is . . . TFS!

It's beautiful just as is! I love it. If you decided you wanted to add the sentiment, what about dangling it from the ribbon with a piece of thin gold string or cord? Like a little tag? Just a thought....
