Flourished Christmas Tree

Flourishes has some of the most elegant stamps, and this tree from the Flourished Christmas set is no exception. I had the idea to use my Nestabilities to cut the largest scalloped square I could for the flat, one-layer base. I used my gold Zig Painty to color the edges of the scallops to match the gold card that I adhered to the base. The tree was stamped with VersaMark, and embossed with Gold Embossing Powder. The ribbon is Gold Organdy, retired from SU. I stamped and embossed the little sentiment you see, but couldn't decide where to place it. In the end...I just left it off. Do you think it's fine without, or not?

Thanks for looking!

Stamps: Flourished Christmas
Card Stock: White PaperTrey Select, Brushed Gold
Ink: VersaMark, Gold Zig Painty
Accessories: Scalloped Square Nestabilities & Big Shot, Corner Rounder punch, Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Organdy ribbon

WOW! I think it's quite elegant and stunning! I agree that sometimes, it isn't easy to figure out just where to put a sentiment. And, in some cases, the card is just as beautiful without it. In this instance, I think it's quite breathtaking as it is . . . TFS!

Stunning Rose Ann!!! I don't think you need the sentiment on the outside of the card. I love it just the way it is!

Very Stunning Gold Tree, and cute snowmen cards too. Luv them all. Did you use a white copic marker to colour the 5 snowmen? Excellent cards, tfs.

WOW!!!!! It is beyond beautiful!! I like it without the sentiment, so that all the focus is on that stunning tree. Excellent card!

I think this is lovely. Also, the sentiment would be fine added, but it is really nice just the way it is. Love the two tone white and gold look. I think that goes particularly well with this ornate tree. Great job!!!

It's beautiful just as is! I love it. If you decided you wanted to add the sentiment, what about dangling it from the ribbon with a piece of thin gold string or cord? Like a little tag? Just a thought....
