That's pretty much been the norm here, but I'll keep posting when I create new stuff.

I have new stamps in the house, and though I've had them for a while...I'm glad pulled them out to play for a bit. These are new Lizzie Anne Designs sets that are available at Simon Says Stamp! The stamps are all clear sets, which is new for Lizzie Anne Designs. It was pretty cool not having to use my Stamp-A-Ma-Jig. ;)
Hello there! Today I have my favorite type of card... one layer clean & simple. I'm using new SU colors, Crisp Cantaloupe card stock and Strawberry Slush ink. The images are from Serene Silhouettes and Teeny Tiny Wishes. Ivory ribbon and ink for the sentiment and border completes the look.

I'm back with some birthday cards I've made for a couple of my nephews. They had birthdays less than a week apart, so I knew I had to get busy...and made both in one evening (small miracle).

The first card is using stamps from My Favorite Things, and papers from SU. The little "cheer" die cut is from a Paper Smooches die set called Christmas Words.

My second card was inspired by some cards I saw posted on Pinterest. I didn't use any specific card I found, but instead grabbed an actual Lego brick from my son's collection. I used my Brayton Font stamps from Just Rite for the "LEGO" lettering. Not a perfect match, but the size was right.

Hello out there in blog land! I'm finally getting around to posting some cards I made a little while back. I took the photos with my iPhone 4s, so I apologize for the poor quality. I was so late in making and sending these, I wanted to get the quickest photos, and pop them in the mail. Anyhow, I've used my Too Kind stamp set from SU for both of these. Very simple designs, just the way I like.
These are simple cards which I've made with my MFT Pure Innocence stamps, and using my Spellbinders dies. I've colored the images with Copic markers, and the sentiment is from SU.

I also made several of these candy pencils for the kids' teachers this year. It's just a little card stock and foil wrapped around a package of Rolo candy, and a Hershey's Hug. You can find the instructions all over the Web, and I used a tutorial I found on YouTube from Scrappinwithmybug.
These were quick photos taken with my phone, so I'm sorry about the quality. I wanted to publish them here, and share with any of you who care to see.

First up are the cards I made for my mom and mother-in-law for Mother's Day this year. I re-created a card I saw on Splitcoaststampers a while back, because I loved the stamps and colors so much. The stamps are from SU.
Here is a silly-looking card I made for my oldest son for his birthday. He has a thing for walruses, and I didn't have a stamp. I did a quick search on the Web, and found this cute digital image at Hambo. He was thrilled with the card, I'm happy to say.

I haven't been creating many cards lately, but I was inspired when Lance was getting ready to test for his black belt. I've stamped several different karate cards in the past, but this time I wanted to create a shaped card. I thought a gi would be a perfect choice. I searched for a template online, but since I couldn't locate one, I designed one myself. Lance really liked it! I made seven altogether (one for Lance, and the others for his senpais, and sensei).

I've used Gina K. Designs heavy card stock for the gi, and black satin ribbon for the belt. My Scor Buddy was used to create the collar. I couldn't decide how to get it to lay nicely around the back of the neck, so I left it as you see.
I've made a card for my daughter for her birthday, and thought I would blog it. It's nothing out of my normal type of card, but I thought the image was so adorable, and I wanted to share. It is called "happiness is.." and is a Phyllis Harris & Unity stamp set.
Hello, friends! I've made a few cards to honor our WWII veterans, and I'm showing them today. My dear friend, Sue, asked if anyone was interested in sending cards for our WWII veterans for the Honor Flight mail call, and I agreed to make some cards.

I didn't have any patriotic stamps that I wanted to use, so I did a search on the internet to find this image called Patriotic Collage, from Impression Obsession. I really LOVED the image, though large collage stamps can be somewhat of a challenge for me to use. I came up with three different ways to use the image so far, and I have some other ideas flowing around in my head as well.

This stamp is a large one, so my cards are ranging from 5 1/2 inches to 6 inches. I don't have envelopes in those sizes, so thank goodness I have the brand new Envelope Punch Board from We R Memory Keepers. This is such an awesome tool, and I'm so glad I purchased it! I made three envelopes that fit my cards perfectly in not much time at all. My husband was even impressed when I demoed how it worked.

(LOL) I'm trying to get my groove back, and while I'm not super thrilled with my creations, at least I'm stamping. ;)

I have a couple of cards using some of my SU stamps. I've created my own template for the big hearts on my Valentine, as I didn't have a die or punch that worked with it. The sentiment is framed with my Spellbinders Fancy Tags die.

My second card is very CAS, and uses the Grand Labels Twenty-Three dies for the shape.
I guess I've done it enough in the past...the cobwebs in my brain didn't hinder me too much.

I've shocked myself, and actually stamped a couple of cards after an almost three-month hiatus from stamping. I'm not really sure why I'm keeping this blog, other than the fact that it's a good collection of my creations over the years. ☺

My mother's birthday is tomorrow, and I wanted to stamp a card for her. I've kept the card CAS, and have used my Serene Silhouettes for the main image. The sentiment is from the Well Scripted set, and the image is framed with my Spellbinders Floral Oval die.
Hello everyone! Today I have a card that I've made using my Trendy Tree Tops Dies from PaperTrey Ink. I have the stamp set as well, but when I stamped the tree top with my Simply Chartreuse ink, I found it to be awful (like many of my PTI inks). I decided to use my dies instead, and stamped the sentiment with my SU Lucky Limeade (even tho it doesn't match that well). The pretty rectangle frame is a Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles die. The ribbon was pulled through my little Xyron Mini (love that thing!) to adhere to my card.
I decided to add some Googlies, and a bead for a nose. The embossing was done using the Spiderweb Cuddlebug embossing folder. I can hardly believe Halloween is almost here...can you? We've been so busy with karate and cross country, and the season is flying by!
My monster is stamped on Cajun Craze, and I colored the dots with Spectrum Noir Markers. The horns, eyeball, and mouth were all stamped on white, colored, and pieced onto the monster. The paper is from The Green Stack (DCWV Inc.)
Hello everyone! Today I have a card using the cute little PI Prehistoric Girl, which I've colored with my Spectrum Noir markers. The paper is so old, but I like her paired with it. It's a fun card, I think. ;)
I wanted to make these for my daughter's Halloween party at school, and I'll probably put something different inside them. (I don't believe kids like candy corn all that well, but it photographs nicely ☺). I was thinking of dressing them up a little more to make them 'my own', but in the end...kept them basic. I've stamped the images from my Googly Ghouls stamp set onto the kit tags with Memento Tuxedo Black, and colored them with my Spectrum Noir markers from Crafter's Companion. Speaking of Spectrum Noir...have you seen the new Product Review at Splitcoaststampers? Check it out!
It's my second card in a row using the marker to image technique for stamping, but I cannot resist doing it for the pretty floral images I have. This card is made using the Watercolor Trio stamp set from SU. I made this for the Perfect Squares Review at Splitcoaststampers. I've used my Perfect Squares to measure and score the fold, and also to help round the bottom corners of my card.

Hello everyone! Today I have a scrapbook page to share, so that's quite a surprise. ;) I've used some photos taken during a trip we took to Fayette this August in the U.P. of Michigan. It was such a gorgeous day, and though it was our third time there...it was the best! There weren't very many other tourists around, and we took our time exploring the buildings, looking at artifacts, reading all of the self-guided posts...and just taking the whole thing in. Lance even found a bone when we were walking along the area where the middle class families used to live. We later received a call from Fayette stating that it was a bone from a pig, and was probably cut by a butcher in Fayette.

The patterned paper for this page is from Michaels, and I've done all of my cropping, wavy border, and circular photo using the Perfect Squares tool. The heading is Thickers, and the daises are Martha Stewart. Don't you think this little witch is too cute? She is from an SU set called Out on a Limb. I never got around to using this set last year when I bought it, and I'm hoping to use it a little more. I've used the Card Creator dies from Spellbinders, and some patterned papers from last years' SU collection for this card. Halloween will be here soon enough, and I always have such a fun time creating cards with all of the fun images. I'm sure I'll be making more.

Hello everyone! Well...the kids are off to school, and we're all hoping for a great year! I'm also hoping for more crafting time, but we'll see (fingers crossed).

Today I'm showing another card I've made using the Card Creator Dies from Spellbinders. I am loving this new set from SU as well (I think I'll be making another card with it soon). Are any of you waiting patiently for the new paper cutter from SU like me? I am hoping this cutter is everything I'm hoping for, as I'm always in search of great paper cutter. I am still using the Fiskars type, as I think my measurements are more accurate with it. I love the way the guillotine ones cut, but I can't seem to get the sizes correct. ;)

Today I'm back with another card I've made using the Card Creator Dies from Spellbinders. I hope you were able to check out our reviews at Splitcoaststampers.
