I don't know about you all, but I sure am tired after the long holiday weekend! I spent a lot of time with the family, which didn't include much stamping at all. We had a nice Thanksgiving, tho...and now the kids are back in school (they were hoping for a snow day today, but no luck for them). I managed to get a couple of cards stamped, and I'm showing you Gio with his yummy treat. Yep...it's a simple card, but aren't these images just too cute? They are from my DoodleFactory Sweet Shoppe set from Starving Artistamps. I decided to use some googlie eyes and bling buttons. I am so happy to add another Christmas card to my pile!

A Pink Fairy

I have a busy day, but wanted to post my card and wonderful BRAK, before I went about my business.

My card is a Tent Topper (concept by Michelle Wooderson). I used my Simply Single Fairy and Fairy Saying stamps. The sparkly star background on the navy card stock is an image from my In The Background set. The stars are embossed with Iridescent Ice powder. I just received my Paisley Nestabilities, and thought it resembled a wing. I decided to stamp my sentiment, and die cut it. It fit almost perfectly.

Whimsical Autumn

Happy Monday everyone!! I hope you all had a good weekend, and are recovering from the nasty weather that swept through many states. We've had LOTS of rain, and the sump pump seems to run almost continually.

Witch Gone Flappy & BRAKs

I love the new Little People Witch from Lizzie Anne Designs, and I thought I would try her on a flap card. The little bat from my LAD Happy Haunting single was inked with my Basic Black Stampin' Write marker, and stamped a couple of times to fill some of the white space. The patterned paper is retired from SU, but I am still loving it! The cute brad can be found here at Eclectic Paperie, and the ribbon was a gift from my winnings at Beth's wonderful blog, A Stampin' Good Time.

Getting "Dirty" on Tuesday

Hello on Tuesday!! It's another Dare to get Dirty challenge day, and these cards are for that. Here's the link to check out todays' challenges. Fun, fun stuff!!

I made this card for my nephew, and used my JustRite Stampers to personalize it. He is at that age between teen and adult, so I thought I would play it safe and choose some masculine colored papers with this simple design. Here's the front:

I used the smaller letters from the same kit to create "Happy Birthday". I hope Christian doesn't think it's too boring. ;)

This card is a simple, single layer card that is water-colored with my Aquapainter and re-inkers. My Aquapainter was releasing too much water, so the coloring isn't so nice. It's a sweet little birdie card anyhow, and who doesn't appreciate those?

Percy & Lily

If it's not computer woes...it's internet woes. I finally gave up trying to post this last night. It seems to be working okay today (fingers crossed).

This is Percy from the DoodleFactory (available at Starving Artistamps). I stamped him with Adirondack ink, and colored with my Copic Sketch markers. The Soft Sky background is embossed with my Floral Fantasy Cuttlebug folder, and the edges were distressed with my Cutter Kit (SU). I used some Prima flowers and a pretty Dew Drop for the center of them. The sentiment is from one of my new Starving Artistamps sets, "Fresh and Funky Farm". I used two different sentiments here, connecting them with a row of dots. (The dots are from one of letter i's that I inked with my marker, and stamped three times).

This Lily card is just adorable, and it was created by Lorien from Stamps N More. Lorien is so sweet, and I'm glad we met at the Michigan Minglers SCS event in March! I love the layout, coloring, and pretty Dew Drops on this!! Thanks for the darling card, Lorien!!

A Robot Named Blip (Beate's Sketch)

This little robot is from the DoodleFactory Urban collection (found at Starving Artistamps), and I used Beate's WSC50 for the layout. The fun paper is from the Cosmo Cricket Cogsmo pad. I colored Blip with my Copic Sketch markers, and highlighted areas with my Spica glitter pens. The gems are Dew Drops, and the ribbon is 5/8 Certainly Celery grosgrain. Move Mountains

I have been wanting to get around to posting this all day, but I never seemed to be able to work it in. Anyhow....I am so thrilled with the newly released singles at the Unity Stamp Company. This single is called "Move Mountains" and is an unmounted stamp. I used my Whisper Collection kit that I found at Jacksonbelle Embellishments, as I thought the paper worked beautifully with the stamp. The fibers and Prima you see were include in the collection, and I just added a Making Memories velvet brad to the center of the flower. Simple, yet effective...I think.

Long Note Owl Card

I love this little owl from the Just Celebrate SU! set. I never purchased the set, because this was really the only image I was interested in. I was lucky to receive this stamped image, along with my Chic Stand order from Angie. I colored it with my Copic Sketch markers, and used my Nestabilities to cut and emboss the circle and scalloped circle mat. This card started out as Beate's WSC46, but I didn't follow it closely (me bad!) I hope you like it anyhow. :D

Stargazer Lily

Hi everyone! I have been busy with the family, so please forgive my absence.

Today I have another shaped card. The base is Pink Passion, and was cut out with My Coluzzle Cutting System and the Circle template. The next layer (Basic Black) was also cut with my Coluzzle. The final white and Black circular layers were cut with my Spellbinders Circle Nestabilities & Big Shot. The Stargazer Lily stamp is from Starving Artistamps, and was stamped with Adirondack Pitch Black ink. I colored it with my Copic Sketch markers, and trimmed it out. I added sparkle to the lily with my Spica Clear glitter pen, then mounted it to my card with Stampin' Dimensionals and Glue Dots. I decided to add a sentiment, and used my Sunspirit Studio Thank You sentiment with Whisper White Craft ink. The black dots were added along the perimeter of the base with my Micron Black pen and using my Paper Piercing template for spacing. The pretty sheer black ribbon is from A Muse.

Can you believe...

...that I've been working on this same card for the last couple of days? Of course it hasn't been constant, but I just kept changing everything. Ribbon, accent colors, etc.

I used my sassy little Elzybell stamp (isn't she cute?), and a computer generated sentiment (punched with my Word Window punch). The card base is from the A Muse 4 Bar Notecard Kitchen Collection. The scalloping at the bottom was done with the corner rounder punch. Rhinestones are Hero Arts. The little dress was paper pieced, and the rest was colored with my Copic Sketch markers.
