This card is made with a tag I removed from a shirt I bought my DH recently. I thought the tag was way too pretty to throw away...so I made it into a card. The birthday sentiment and ribbon/grommet treatment hide the original writing on the tag. I didn't alter the tag in any other way...I just built around it. The sentiment is from Birthday Basics (PTI), and the little fragment of damask I stamped for the Rain Dot is from an image in the Friends 24-7 set (SU).
Thanks so much for visiting today!!

Both are lovely! Great way to recycle the tag!
Oh wow, you totally achieved softness in that first card!! Love that beautiful ribbon and the light blue tones!! What a fantastic idea to re-use a tag!...and a beautiful one at that!
Your first card is so soft and lovely - love those new colors and the paper piercing! And I love how you used that tag instead of throwing it away - it turned out really nice!
You definitely were successful in making that first card, soft and pretty! Love that yummy ribbon!
LOVE the idea of keeping that tag and doing something with it...looks fantastic!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend girl!
Sometimes it's nice to do something completely opposite. The first one is soft and sweet. And I love how you converted that tag into a card. Really rich looking, and the grommet looks great.
Awesome cards Rose Ann! I love the long cards. I forget to use my corner rounder. Love how you did that on the first card.
love this----they are both so different from eachother but they are both fantastic....hard to do....great job!

Both are beautiful cards. Love the recycled tag on the second card. Fabulous design.
These are both beautiful in their own right. I love the soft beauty of the first one, and what a beautiful "butterfly" bow!! That second one is rich and warm and yummy!!

Soft whimsy comes to mind for the first card. Way to be green with that tag! I love this!
Great job again ! I especially love the blue one. Great how you did the ribbon !!!
Oh, my goodness, it does resemble a butterfly! Perfect with your flowers and so cute! I love the card! Also the tag is truly beautiful. No wonder you couldn't throw it away. That must have been some special shirt to sport a tag like this one!
What gorgeous creations! LOVE the soft and beautiful 1st card and your ribbon DOES look like a butterfly! The 2nd tag creation is SO PRETTY -- totally love this type of look!!! Great work!!!
