Cami Trifold

This is my attempt at a 'Cami Trifold' card. The tutorial can be found at Beate's Fresh & Fun blog here.

I used Poppy Stems from Stampendous for the main image, and the flourishes are from Paper Salon's Fancy Flourishes. The sentiment is from SU's Curvy Verses.

This was a fun little card to make, but I didn't have the proper scalloped square punch to fit my 'window' for a nice frame, so I chose the flourishes. The ribbon is 'Cindy Ribbon' purchased at StarLitStudio. The ribbon heart slide from Maya Road, is also from StarLitStudio.

Card stock is marigold morning, watercolor paper, basic black (all SU). Jet Black StazOn is used for the image, and I used an Aqua Painter (SU) with re-inkers to color the poppies. I was attempting to get the look of the Prince Of Orange Poppy. The slit punch for SU was used to create a flap to help hold the card closed, and paper piercing was used to add a little bit to the design. It still looks quite plain...but I don't want to overdo it.
