Snowman and Rain

Hello everyone! It's been a little while, and tho I have not been stamping a lot...I have made a few things. I have not been very good about coming here and posting my creations, so I'm going to try to get back into the swing of things by posting a couple of cards I've made over the past couple of weeks.

First up is a Stick Chick Girl with Snowman. I think she is really cute, and she has more snow than I've seen around here in a while. I'm not complaining at all, but it hasn't felt much like winter.

Stamps: Girl With Snowman (Stick Chicks)
Card Stock: White (PTI)
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers
Accessories: Snowflakes Embossing Folder (Cuttlebug), Creative Memories Decorative Cutter, Inverted Rectangle Spellbinders, Aqua Mist Ribbon

I was thinking a bit "out of the box" when I made this next design. I don't have any rain papers or background stamps, so I decided to use this Bead Curtain Coveralls stamp to give the look of rain. Stamping with VersaMark Dazzle really made it look even more like rain, and I tried to get a photo of the sparkle in my second image. The sentiment is Two Lovers, and the little umbrella is an EK Success sticker.

Stamps: Two Lovers Single, Bead Curtain Coveralls
Card Stock: Bordering Blue, White
Ink: Tuxedo Black, Bordering Blue, VersaMark Dazzle
Accessories: Fancy Tags (Spellbinders), Ek Success Sticker, Foam Tape

Thanks for visiting, and I'll be back soon with some more recent creations!

great cards! The first one is my favorite. We haven't seen much snow here either, but I need it to hold off til I'm home from CHA!

Love both cards - especially the sentiment on the second one.

What a sweet, cute, and fun shaped card the first one is! That is an adorable image! I'm glad you're enjoying a mild winter!

And how smart you are to come up with an alternative to the obvious rain by using that background stamp! It's just adorable!

The shape of the first card is wonderful! (Though I like them both :) We got our first snowfall last night - just a little bit, but enough to cause 80 accidents!
