A Little Somethin'...

to warm you up. My card uses some adorable images from the Lizzie Anne Designs December 2010 Mix, "Warmest Wishes". The layout is last weeks' LAD Challenge 155. I've used patterned papers from Material Girl and a tiny bit of Early Bird (both from Cosmo Cricket). I've colored the image with Copic Markers, added some Liquid Appliqué to the marshmallows (without puffing), and the lace trim is from MFT.

Stamps: Warmest Wishes-Dec. 2010 Mix (Lizzie Anne Designs)

A Few Winter Cards

Hello everyone! I have a few winter-themed cards to show today, which could also be used as Christmas cards. I didn't make many Christmas cards this year, I'm ashamed to say.

The first card is totally clean and simple, and I love the elegance of it. I've used the new Northern Flurry embossing folder from SU, and the beautiful sentiment is from Verve. I've blinged up the snowflakes with Rhinestone Jewels.

I needed another card, so I've used my tag from the other day, to mount to a coordinating base. I guess that's what you do in times of need, huh?

My final card uses the scraps of paper from the tag above. I wasn't about to cover up that cutie snowman with anything, so I just added a sentiment (from LAD December 2010 Mix), adhered to a base, and added the bakers twine.

I hope you've enjoyed these simple creations, and thanks for stopping by!!

A Lizzie Anne Design Team Challenge

As you see by the title, I've rejoined the Lizzie Anne Designs Team!! Yay!! I've really missed everyone, and I'm excited to be creating with this talented team once again!

So...onto the challenge. Each of the team members have created a tag/gift-tag using holiday stamps. I'm using the Tall Snowman Simply Single stamp, and some images from the Love & Joy set for the reverse side. The snowman was colored with Copic Markers, trimmed out, and mounted onto my little snowy scene with foam tape. The snow hill was cut using my Creative Memories Decorative Trimmer, then sparkled with Dazzling Diamonds. The base is die cut with my Beaded Oval Nestabilities, and the snowflakes were cut with MFT Dia-namics.

Please be sure to stop over to the Lizzie Anne Designs Blog for peeks of everyone's designs, and links to their websites. It's sure to be inspiring!!

Kioshi Monogram Card Kit

I totally love the Kioshi Monogram Card Kit from Taylored Expressions, so I decided to purchase it to use as a gift. I was going to change things up a little bit, but the design was so pretty as it was... I decided not to alter it. It's a fun change of pace to have everything all cut and ready to assemble, and I really enjoyed making these!! This kit includes 10 envelopes, 10 cards, and a great box to store them in.

I have some exciting news to share tomorrow, and I can hardly wait to tell you about it!

Thanks for dropping by!!

Holly Jolly Wreaths has been almost a month...and I do sound like a skipping record (for those of you who know all about how vinyl records would skip). I have not made many Christmas cards this year, so unless I do some major mass production...I will have to visit my local Hallmark (shameful). I was thinking of mass producing these, but even as simple as they are...they would take me more time than I have.

I've used a couple of PaperTrey Ink Stamp sets for this design. The wreath is from Wreath For All Seasons, and the sentiment is from Holiday Button Bits. The red is rich and yummy Cherry Cobbler, which is new this year from SU. I've used my sponge and some Rich Cocoa ink all around the edges of the card, and image layer. The texture was added to the base with my Retro Diamonds Quickutz folder.

I'm attempting to show you how I've added some pretty sparkle to the berries with my Lipstick Spica glitter pen, but it didn't photograph very well. Much prettier in real life!

I have a project using a kit that I purchased a while ago, and never blogged, so please come back tomorrow if you'd like to check it out.

Thanks so much for visiting today! I appreciate your visits!! ☺
