Holly Jolly Wreaths

Gosh...it has been almost a month...and I do sound like a skipping record (for those of you who know all about how vinyl records would skip). I have not made many Christmas cards this year, so unless I do some major mass production...I will have to visit my local Hallmark (shameful). I was thinking of mass producing these, but even as simple as they are...they would take me more time than I have.

I've used a couple of PaperTrey Ink Stamp sets for this design. The wreath is from Wreath For All Seasons, and the sentiment is from Holiday Button Bits. The red is rich and yummy Cherry Cobbler, which is new this year from SU. I've used my sponge and some Rich Cocoa ink all around the edges of the card, and image layer. The texture was added to the base with my Retro Diamonds Quickutz folder.

I'm attempting to show you how I've added some pretty sparkle to the berries with my Lipstick Spica glitter pen, but it didn't photograph very well. Much prettier in real life!

I have a project using a kit that I purchased a while ago, and never blogged, so please come back tomorrow if you'd like to check it out.

Thanks so much for visiting today! I appreciate your visits!! ☺

Oh your cards are just gorgeous, Rose Ann! I love those rich colors together! I can kinda see what you're talking about with the glitter pen. Not super glittery in the photo, but I can see the dimension and can imagine the pretty sparkle! Enjoy your holidays!

Oh so beautiful. Love the whimsical wreath and the dry embossing. Very, very lovely. I've still not had motivation to stamp much.

These are very pretty, Rose Ann! I love the embossed background. It's funny how they do look simple, but when it comes to mass producing, simple never seems simple enough.
