The first card uses a beautiful fall set from PaperTrey Ink called Falling leaves. My son told me it's a very simple-looking card, and it is...but I told him to try stamping and trimming out all of those leaves by hand, then tell me how simple it is. Lol. The right edge of my card was die cut with the Perfect Bracket Edge Die-namics die from My Favorite Things, and I sponged in my grassy hill using a punched circle template that I created.

Beautiful cards. Love the cut out leaves and edge. Very sad about your relative's girl - a child or youth dying is always very difficult.
Beautiful cards, Rose Ann! What a tragedy to lose a child. I'm sure they will appreciate your thoughtfulness and support.
Yeah for a post!!!! Fabulous cards. I keep taking unintentional breaks too.
Oh that Gina K labels card is gorgeous Rose Ann! WOW such beautiful coloring! Though such a difficult reason to need it.
And I had to laugh that your son thought it looked simple...boy all the education they need on crafting :)
Oh that's too funny...simple card! Little did he know. It's great, of course - I love the cut out leaves and your cool, sponged edge! And your 2nd card is so beautifully layered! I love them both, Rose Ann!
Both cards are stunning Rose Ann! I love the tree on the first card.
I am so very sorry to hear of the loss of your husband's relative. I can't imagine the shock and grief they must be suffering. My thoughts and prayers are with them.
Both of these are gorgeous Rose Ann! And how horrible to lose a child like that......my prayers are with the family!
They are both gorgeous Rose Ann!
So sad to hear about your loss!
My prayers and thoughts are with you.
Rose Ann, both cards are beautiful. How horrible to loose his young daughter that way.
Hugs!
Hi Rose Ann! Love the fun edge on the first card, never would have thought to do that. The second card is my favorite, great color combo!
Beautiful and sweet cards, and you're right, there is nothing simple about intricate trimming! My eyes usually go crosswards after trimming things like that! I love the edge on your first card! Love all the layers and gorgeous colored flowers on your second one!
These cards are gorgeous. I love the simplicity and CAS style of the first one. And the colors of the second one are so so vibrant and pretty. I love the embossing too! Beautiful work! :)
I love it when you stamp, Rose Ann! These are absolutely beautiful. I'm really sorry to hear your second card was made for such a sad purpose. That's truly an unbearable tragedy.
