The first card was created using Blackbird from My Mind's Eye. I have to say that although the images are cute, they were not the easiest to work with. I ended up using VersaFine to get the best stamped image. Not my favorite clear stamps to work with, for sure. I loved the papers in the pack, though...and went a little bit crazy with the patterns. The frame was a die-cut in the pack, and I used lots of foam tape to add some nice dimension.

I made the second card a long time ago, and it sat on my desk unfinished. The image was stamped and the edges were sponged...but I could never decide where to go from there. I finally decided to keep it simple and added a rub-on sentiment, and a simple ribbon. The owl's eye are colored yellow, and sparkled with a Spica Glitter pen.

Oh I love them both but I'm a pattern girl at heart...happy friday Rose Ann!
Love both but the second one is my fav. Love the CAS design.
cute and sweet!
These are great Rose Ann! I love them both!
These are SO sweet Rose Ann! I LOVE them both!
fabulous Halloween cards, one so cute and the other so elegant! hugs Debx
Oh I just love that "busy" one! So stinkin' cute! I think you put it together perfectly - that spider web in the corner is great!
I also love the 2nd one a lot - the sponging is a very nice touch, too! I like its simplicity.
While I adore patterns, I have a particular fondness for solid card stocks . . . the 2nd design just speaks "chic" to me. It made me bonk into a street pole, it that *good*! ;)
Hmmm! Clean and simple can be very nice but when it comes to Halloween - I tend to like the busy patterns. Such cute images and papers!
hee hee - the first card makes me smile bigtime!!! And the second card is totally gorgeous!
I actually adore both!
Personally, I like them both. Today I'm in a more hyper mood, so I'll pick #1! Yesterday I would have picked #2. The Minds Eye images came out great, even if you did have to work with them more, but then that would be why wouldn't it?!? ;]
Two sweet cards Rose Ann!
Hope you had a wonderful field trip.
Both are terrific. Love the gorgeous CAS and fun mix of that first card!
Rose Ann of course both are great but my fav for sure is the second clean & simple vintage Halloween card. Oooh so spooky! LOVE IT!
I love them both because it really shows your versatility in design! The first one is very cute with the fun colors and layers and the 2nd one really has a spooky effect because of its cleanliness, love it!
Love them both, Rose Ann. I think Halloween cards are so fun!
Oh I love them both! I use a lot of paper on my cards but love the look of a CAS card!!
Fantastic girl!
I think they're both absolutely fantabulous, but I am soooo loving all those patterns together on the first card. Totally CA-UTE! :)
They are both great cards. The first is so adorable and fun. The second is such an elegant design. Love 'em both.. depends on my mood de jour which one would be my fav! lol
Love these, Rose Ann! Your little Halloween critters are adorable, and I love the simplicity (and spookiness) of the second one!
That's a good question, Rose Ann! Well, you know how I love my designer papers, and that first card is uber-cute. There's something about the second one, though, that feels extra good to me today. The image is very cool. Really, I like anything that's well done, and these cards are certainly well done!
Both cards are wonderful, but you KNOW how much I adore the one-layer card. It's simply perfect!!!!
