I was happy to have some time to create again, after the past couple of days. Lance came down with a stomach bug, and because he has Type 1 diabetes...we had a bit of a scare. After being sick all night on Thursday...he didn't want to eat or drink much for fear of getting sick again. He started having ketones, and we had to keep a very close eye on him to get them flushed out of his system. This was his first bad illness since being diagnosed, so we really learned about what to improve on for the next time. He is feeling much better now, but both of us hardly had sleep for the last two days.
My mother's birthday is today, and this is the card I made for her. Very simple, but I think she'll like it. I used Very Versatile from SU, and the sentiment is from A Muse. My Curved Rectangle Nestabilites were embossed for the frame, and I sponged Regal Rose to add a little color. The ribbon is retired SU.
