I had fun making this Tree! I love to make shaped cards, and that was what I set out to do ...when I began making this. I embossed my Wasabi card using my Herringbone Cuttlebug folder, then die cut the tree with my Nested Pine Trees Shapeabilities. I die cut all of the little snowflakes (using the Snowflakes Borderabilities set), then I accented the centers with Taylor's Twinkles. I adhered them on my tree with Tombo glue. At that point I began thinking my tree would be so much cuter with a stand. I thought about using my Matchbox die for the stand by cutting a couple of slits into the top of the box to support my tree. It worked perfectly! I knew I had the perfect sentiment (from Oh Christmas Tree/Lizzie Anne Designs) for my tree, then stamped and punched it out with my Modern Label punch. Now I have a cute decorative card with the gift box included. How cool is that?Stamps: Oh Christmas Tree (Lizzie Anne Designs)
