I saw this pickup camper at Rubbernecker a while ago, and knew I had to have it...as this is how we've been camping for years.
Stamps: Camper (Rubbernecker), Essential Sentiments (MFT)
Card Stock: Bazzill from "Winter Wonderland" selection (at Lizzie Anne Designs), White, Pheobe (BasicGrey)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Green Galore, Copic markers, Spica Glitter pens, Stardust GellyRoll pen
Accessories: Rectangle Nestabilites, Alpine Ribbon Originals (retired SU), Scotch Foam Tape
Do you camp? I would LOVE to know what you all are using!!
This is a picture of our site after we set everything up. We pitched a small tent to store all of our clothing, towels, etc, in for easy access. We also put up a screen room for a covered area over the picnic table. It works out really well for us!!Card Stock: Bazzill from "Winter Wonderland" selection (at Lizzie Anne Designs), White, Pheobe (BasicGrey)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Green Galore, Copic markers, Spica Glitter pens, Stardust GellyRoll pen
Accessories: Rectangle Nestabilites, Alpine Ribbon Originals (retired SU), Scotch Foam Tape
**Most campers are white with fancy graphics, so I just lined the camper with my C1 Copic marker so it doesn't look so plain (can't tell in the photo). I didn't get brave enough to attempt the graphics...so there you have it.
This may seem very small for a family of five, but our kids are still small enough to make it work (for now anyway). Three can sleep in the over the cab bed area, and two sleep down in the dining area (where we drop the table). Even for it's smaller size, this thing is loaded with lovely comforts (refrigerator, stove, oven, microwave, air conditioning, hot water heater, bath with stool, sink & shower, kitchen sink, CD/radio, cable hook up, lots of plugs for our gadgets.) We have been discussing what we will get when we need something larger, but we are still undecided for now.
Do you camp? I would LOVE to know what you all are using!!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!! Enjoy your Sunday!!

Rose Ann this is adorable! We never camped in a pick-up camper, but we did have a motor home that we called the WWI relic. It had bunks that were supported with chains and if there were 5 of us, someone had to sleep on the floor in the middle of the bunks. I'll never forget the night I had to sleep on the floor and my brother decided to sleep walk!
Oh Rose Ann!! This card is adorable!! Love that camper! I don't think my DH could've slept in one like that though...he's quite claustrophobic!! We have a fifth-wheel. I like having an easy access bathroom. *grin* And since you unhook the truck, you can take it for sight-seeing. We don't sit too well. We have to see different things. Looks like you camped in a beautiful spot, and have everything well organized!! There's nothing that compares to the relaxation of camping...cooking over a fire...nature....ahhhh, heaven!!
This is such a cute card, Rose Ann...perfect for someone who enjoys camping!! I am such a city girl...gotta have a bathroom and power for the curling iron...heehee!!! We have a 5th wheel...more stability on the road and the ceiling is higher. I like a little space and they come with a choice of 1-3 slidouts for lots of room!! Looks like you and your family had a great time!!!
What a super cute card! Love the green curtains. :) I haven't been camping in *forever*, but some of my favorite childhood memories involve being out in the woods with the fam.
What a cute card, Rose Ann! I love that ribbon (I still have some, too!) and your coloring is totally fine. I love the green curtains!
I haven't been camping since I was first married. I'm more of a Hampton Inn kinda gal now!
Hey Rose Ann...great card! Thanks for sharing your camping pic too...I haven't camped in years...I'm really too much of a city girl these days :)
You know, I KNEW I liked you RoseAnn! You're a fellow camper! Okay, so camping for us these days is a motorhome with a king-sized bed for DH & me, and a pull-out sofa for the boys. Not exactly roughing it, but still close quarters for a family of four! We used to have an 28" Airstream that we *LOVED* but then got a wonderful deal on this motorhome from my DH's uncle and we couldn't refuse. I still miss our trailer, though! :) I love this card and hope there are lots & lots of happy camping days ahead for you and yours.
Awesome card Rose Ann brings back memories.
GREAT card! I love the bright green with the brown, and that image is so fun!
My parents have the same kind as you that goes over their truck. They really like theirs too and use it for going to races. We have the old Chevy van-style camper (class C, I think) with the bunk over top the driver's seat, a table that converts to a bed, and bed in the back....of course, with a VERY small bathroom too. It's an old '85 so it's nothing fancy (gotta love that 80's floral wallpaper!) but we like to use it for going to races and our annual trip to Knoebels Campground. We always set up an EZ-up tent over the picnic table too.
That is too perfect! It looks just like yours. Great card. I haven't camped in years. Probably only once in a tent at a campground. Once in my grandfather Winnebego (sp?) and often at my grandfather's camp, which was just a house trailer in a campground in the mountains. I think my one friend's family that camps a lot has a pop up camper that they really like. Guess I'm not much help. LOL.
That is THE coolest card. It does look just like your camper. Love your set yo (the card layout & camping layout) ;o) Looks like a blast! :O)
Awesome card RA!! :) Now even I would go camping if I had all that stuff!! LOL. Unfortunately we don't and I just won't sleep on the ground in a tent! NO WAY, NO HOW!! LOL
i want a camper or tent trailer. i think i am done with tents.
Cute card Rose Ann! Good thing you picked up that stamp, 'cause you would never find it if you looked for it!! Ha Ha Your camp site looks great. I don't camp. I have camped, and it's been fun, but....not a vacation.
Well, by gosh, this looks just like your camper! We were always tent campers. I love the smell and the feel of a tent. But when we started traveling to grizzly bear country, it was hard-sided vehicles all the way. On our recent trip, we did the motel thing, but had deli picnic lunches and dinners along the way. It was easy...sort of the best of both worlds!
I LOVE this card, Rose Ann! It DOES look just like your camper. You're so much braver than me! My idea of roughing it is staying at a Holiday Inn!!
Great card Rose Ann!! Love the pic of your camper too - sounds like you have everything you need in there! We just bought a pop-up camper with my brother and his family last year and really enjoyed it! There was plenty of room for us all and it was great to have an "indoor" spot - no bath though . . . We're going at the end of August, can't wait! :)
I love this, Rose Ann! My family used to camp every weekend. We had a Ford pick-up and would pull a big ol' camper to Gettysburg every weekend. Those were such fun times. Thanks for bringing it back! :)
now that's the ticket! there'a a lot of comfort in that camper! what a fun card
Looks like fun! You look like an expert camper! What a cute card too!
Darling card! I am AMAZED at all you say is included in that camper -- totally amazed! Almost like I'd have to see it to believe it -- LOL!!! Your campsite looks fun!! I am SO not a camper -- give me a nice motel room with breakfast served and shopping close by -- LOL!!!
LOVE THIS! What a cute image, and a super fun card! I love to camp - we tent camp - but it's so horribly hot here, camping is not done in the summer! (at least by us - maybe other crazy people do it!) It's much better here in the fall or spring. But, I haven't camped since I've had kids - hopefully once they're old enough that it wouldn't be a complete nightmare we'll start camping again! Hey btw I'll be in Michigan in August - I don't know where we'll be just yet (we're thinking of renting a cabin up at Interlochen!) but if there's any chance I could meet up with you, you know I'd *love* to!!
