How Sweet It Is!

Stamps: How Sweet It Is! (Gina K. Designs-Stamps For a Cause)
Card Stock: Spring Moss (PTI), Purely Pomegranate (SU), White, Lemonade (BasicGrey)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Markers
Accessories: Blossom & Circle Nestabilities, Labels Trio Shapabilities, Scallop Edge punch (SU), Purely Pomegranate Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, Scotch Foam Tape

I needed a baby card for a friend, so I pulled out my Gina K. Stamps for a cause "How Sweet It Is" set. I love this image, and the sweet sentiment to go along with it!

When I originally purchased this set, I didn't know how personal the cause was going to affect my family.

You may already know that my son, Lance, was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in March of this year. It has been an adjustment for Lance, and the family...but I'm happy to say he is doing quite well. At his 3-month visit, his A1C was 6.6, and the Dr. seemed to be pleased. Lance is still in the "honeymoon phase", but he is hoping to try an insulin pump once it is approved.

***
The Lizzie Anne Designs release is just around the corner (7/25), and the team will be showing projects made with the new stamps starting tomorrow. It's an exciting time, so I hope you'll join myself and the team to see the new goodies!

Thanks so much for stopping by!!

This is fabulous Rose Ann! I love the scallop border on the bottom and the ribbon border on top. And these are wonderful colors together.

Oh, super CUTE Rose Ann!! Seems everywhere I look I'm seeing baby cards! :) Reminding me to get in gear and get mine done for my cousin...AAACK! Boy cards are hard for me...even baby ones! I also need a b-day one for a boy turning 5 today. *sigh* LOL!
