More Impressabilities & Some S'rooms

Today I have another card that I created, using the new Impressabilites dies from Spellbinders. Have you checked out the reviews from the Splitcoaststampers Review Team yet? Here's the link again...just in case you missed it.

The background on this card is debossed, and the butterfly is actually using the Letterpress technique. The sentiment is from the new LAD Everyday Sayings set.

(Click photo for a better view)
Stamps: Everyday Sayings (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Card Stock: Spring Rain, Spring Moss (PaperTrey Ink)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, White Craft
Accessories: Flowers & Butterfly Impressabilites Dies, Ribbon Tags Trio Shapabilites, Corner Rounder Punch, Spring Moss Satin Ribbon, Scotch Foam Tape

Yesterday we had quite a surprise when Lance came in from playing on the Rainbow playset, holding one of these in his hand. He told me there were more outside by the pine trees in the back yard. Of course I had to go and check it out, as we had never discovered this before. Here's what we found:

We are pretty excited about this discovery, and congratulated Lance on his awesome find.

Thanks so much for dropping by today!! I hope you have a good one!!

OH my goodness! I haven't seen those since my pre-teen youth! What an exciting find! Did you check to see if they're edible? I know a girlfriend who would also be excited with your son's find for sure. You're taking me "back" to "the days" ....

And I must say ... I love your sympathy card, Rose Ann. I'm making 3 sympathy cards this week ... and it's just such a 'sad' task. I must learn to make 2 or 3 of those 'ahead' for 'next' times.

(((hugs)))

Your sympathy card is beautiful Rose Ann. I love how you added the butterfly to the sentiment...very pretty!

Ok how cool are those mushrooms! I have NEVER seen nor heard about them before. I just read that they are found in moist places. Guess living in a dry climate means we don't have them here. Too bad! Did you find out if yours are edible?

Gorgeous card, Rose Ann! So soft and sweet, and perfect with the satin ribbon and butterfly. I love mushrooms, too. They're supposed to be good for your immune system. Mushroom hunting used to be a regular activity for us. Lots of chantrels around here. Also puff balls, chicken of the woods, shaggy manes, and more. Yum!
