If you've been visitor here for a while, you probably know that I find it very refreshing to stamp a pretty single-layer card every so often. With the beautiful new Thoughts & Prayers SU set, and my Fabriano notecards it isn't difficult to do so. I used my markers to ink the tree image, then added some sprigs of grass to the base of the stamped image. The ribbon and Styled Vanilla slide finished this off nicely, I think.
So... what new goodies did you order from the new catalog? I have at least a couple more sets, lots of new dies, more corduroy buttons, Ribbon Originals, and patterned paper that I would like. Yep...a long list...lol!

Whewie, this is gorgeous, girl! I love when you make cards with a lot of white space. It really shows off the image and that striking ribbon. Love the ribbon slide with it too. Can you tell I'm lovin' this card?!! :)

WOW!!!!! I totally love this Rose Ann - so simple but absolutely gorgeous!! I love the ribbon slide, and that stamp set is just beautiful!! And, it would be easier to list the things I DON'T want out of the new catty - LOL! Ack!! I want one of everything!

Absolutely beautiful, Rose Ann! The simplicity is what makes this card so appealing. I find this one of the most beautiful sets in the new catalog and still I'll probably have to resist it. I try to kid myself that I'll have time to use all these new things, but I always turn out to be wrong. I'm still trying to work with the Valentine bundle. Love the new accessories!

Sympathy cards are so hard to do because they need to be kept somewhat simple yet convey a message. I believe you NAILED it.
