Single-Layer Christmas

I have a special treat for all of you single-layer card lovers. I am a huge fan of these types of cards...and enjoy making them.

I am using retired SU Christmas sets for my cards. Some of my favorite SU sets are retired, and I'm just not ready to get rid of them yet. My Nestabilities were used for my embossed frames, and love the look. I used Stickles for the berries (hard to see in the photo) on my Merry Christmas card, and Copics sketch markers to color my snowmen. The 120 lb. weight Pure Luxury card stock will give you no bleed through...and I LOVE that.

Stamps: Peaceful Wishes, Holiday Wishes
Card Stock: Fabriano Mediovalis (available at Starlit Studios)
Ink: Old Olive
Accessories: Square Nestabilites, Stickles

Stamps: Flaky Friends, So Many Sayings
Card Stock: Pure Luxury 120 lb. weight (available at Gina K. Designs)
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, Copic Sketch markers, Real Red marker, Spica Glitter pens
Accessories: Circle Nestabilites, Pure Poppy Saddle Stitched ribbon (PTI)

I hope you've enjoyed these simple cards, and wish you a lovely day! Thanks for stopping!!

Beautiful single layer cards Rose Ann. I do hate when stamp sets retire but that doesn't mean we can't use them. I love the embossing, gives it a great layer effect.

***bowing to your single layers***

Oh to be able to create single-layered beauties like these! Rose Ann, I'm totally with you on "simple", particularly since I'm far too behind on personal Christmas stamping. But these are far more than 'one-layer' ... these are elegant!

Oh Rose Ann, both cards are just beautiful & so elegant! I love the crispness of an all white card but find it SO hard to make them for myself. Your coloring is just wonderful on these! Love them!!

PS. Thank you so much for my super cute Christmas card I recieved in the mail. OH MY...I had to giggle when I saw that monkey on the front! Thank you for thinking of me!
Happy Holidays to you & your family, Rose Ann!
