I'm so glad I am doing some Christmas cards a little earlier this year. I love mixing them in along with my other cards, and hopefully I won't be so overwhelmed at Christmas.
This is the first time using my new Rockin' Holiday set from Lizzie Anne Designs. There are so many cute images in this set, and I decided to use the tree first. The swirly background is from my In The Background set, and I thought it would be fun to pair up with my tree. The designer paper is from my BasicGrey Figgy pad. I tried stamping and coloring directly on the paper...but it bled too much. I ended up using Neenah Solar White instead, and just paper pieced my tree onto the Figgy. I used my new Scallop Square to create the scalloping at the top of my Tangerine Tango strip, and added a little star from some embellishments that Libby sent me (thanks, Libby!)
Thanks for stopping by today...and I hope to "see" you around blog land. I have lots of catching up to do, and can't wait to see what you all have been up to. ;)
