Saturday Challenge Card

I hope you're having a nice weekend, everyone! Here's my challenge card for today. I am working on the others to post at a later time.

I decided to try something different for my flap card today. I used my Fresh Cuts Notes big flower, and backed it with a distressed piece of Rose Red for added texture. I also made my card a little larger than in my tutorial. When my card is closed, it measures 4.25 x 4.25 inches.

Inside view
Stamps: Fresh Cuts
Card Stock:
Certainly Celery, Fresh Cut Notes, Rose Red, Berry Bliss
Ink: Rose Red, Inkssentials Opaque pen, Certainly Celery Stampin' Write marker
Accessories: Scor-Pal, Coluzzle w/circle template, Circle Nestabilities, small oval punch, Ticket Corner punch, paper piercer & template, Ice Circle brad, Pretty in Pink brads, May Arts ribbon, BasicGrey Magnetic Snaps, Stampin Dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by today!!

Honestly ... the flap cards are one of my all-time fav card styles! I can't explain just 'why' ... but perhaps it's because they offer a bit of the "unexpected" to the recipient! Yours, Rose Ann, are indeed savor-worthy!
