Let Freedom Ring

I made this card for the monthly DD/DDA challenge. Here are the rules:

Challenge Focus: "Inside & Out"......stamp and decorate both the inside of your card AND the outside of the envelope. (any card size is ok) Please upload two photos. Required Element: Patriotic element - interpret this any way you like (ex. color scheme, sentiment, image, whatever) Restricted Element: No ribbon Optional - Send your card to the troops so that they can in turn mail it home to family or friends (all themes and occasions welcome).

I decided to line my envelope instead of decorating the outside, so I guess I'm a rule breaker. I just hope it's well-received.

I will have to come back later for the deets, as I am having computer issues....and the windows keep shutting down on me. Good news....the new computer arrived. (Now I just need time to set it up).

Thanks for stopping by!!

Inside of card/envelope
Ingredients:

Stamps: A Basket Celebration (The Saltbox Studio), Let Freedom Ring (Starving Artistamps)

Card Stock: Neenah Classic Cream, Ruby Red, Boxer (BasicGrey)

Ink: Adirondack Pitch Black, Copic Sketch markers, Gold Spica glitter pen

Accessories: Crop-A-Dile, star eyelets, Ticket corner punch, Labels Trio (Spellbinders), Stampin' Dimensionals

Really pretty - I love the star brads around the top of the basket. The envelope and lining are delightful! This would make any card extra special!

My goodness! I NEVER thought of using THAT paper with a patriotic theme (as she slaps herself on the side of the head)! You are too clever and creative! So glad to hear about your new computer! I'll be keeping my fingers crossed for you to get the precious time to set it up! Hope you have a wonderful weekend!

I think you nailed the challenge, even if you didn't decorate the inside of your card! The image, brads and your expression that comes from this card is just great! Good luck with your computer set up! Hugs, Deb

I think lining the envelope is the same as decorating it. This is one fabulous card, Rose Ann! I love having everything so beautifully finished like this. It's very classy!
