New Stamps!

Yippee!! I have been having fun with some of my new Lizzie Anne Designs stamps! They now have EZ thin mount, and stick to my blocks better than ever!! Woo hoo!! ** Don't forget to click on the photos for a zoomed up shots. **

My first card uses the Born to be Wild set, and I chose a rather simple layout. Even though this set would be a great baby set, I chose to focus on the wild side...lol. This little giraffe is so cute, and I stamped him with Adirondack Pitch Black ink, then colored him with my Copic Sketch markers. I trimmed him out, and used my Stampin' Dimensionals to mount him to my die cut rectangles (Nestabilites). Lauren made me buy the Cuttlebug Doodle Flower (Eclectic Paperie), by totally enabling with her creations, and I used a Fire Circle rhinestone brad (SU) for the center.

Stamps: Born to be Wild (Lizzie Ann Designs)
Card Stock: Close to Cocoa, Garden Green, GP White, Summer Sun
Ink: Adirondack Pitch Black, Garden Green, Copic Sketch markers
Accessories: Taupe Grosgrain ribbon (retired SU), Fire Circles rhinestone brads (SU), Nestabilites Rectangles, Cuttlebug Scribble Flower, Stampin' Dimensionals

I used my Le Jardin stamp set for this next card. I decided to make a trio of flowers, and this longer card seemed to fit better with the design. My flowers were stamped and colored with Copic Sketch markers once again. I trimmed out the large flowers, but punched the tiny flowers with my ½ inch circle punch so that I could make them into brads with my Build-A-Brad kit (I love this thing)! I used my SU scallop circle punch for the backdrop of my large flowers and mounted them to the base with glue dots. I pierced along the top edge, then added a strip of distressed Pixie Pink card stock. I tied May Arts black polka dot ribbon around the pink strip. The corners were rounded with my retired Corner Rounder punch, and the sentiment is from Sketched Sentiments (LAD).

Stamps: Le Jardin, Sketched Sentiments (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Card Stock: Apricot Appeal, Basic Black, Pixie Pink, GP White
Ink: Adirondack Pitch Black, VersaFine Onyx Black, Copic Sketch markers
Accessories: Scallop Circle , Corner Rounder, and ½ inch circle punches (SU), Pewter Build-A-Brad kit (SU), Paper Piercer tool, template, and mat (SU), May Arts ribbon, Cutter Kit (SU)

I have a few DT commitments to finish up, but because a few people are interested....I will be doing a tutorial with ribbon weaving soon. Thanks for stopping by for a visit!
