Shaped LAD

I've been enjoying my Petite Phrases set from Lizzie Anne Designs! My cards were drawn and cut out to imitate the images in the set. I loved that little hat so much, that I thought it would be cool to make the card in the same shape. I was thinking Minnie Pearl, when I hung the sentiment tag.

The inside shows the cute image that I was trying to draw. Isn't it darling?

I wanted to add texture to the hat, so I used my Swiss Dots Cuttlebug folder from Eclectic Paperie, to emboss. The striped grosgrain is from SU.

Stamps: Petite Phrases
Card Stock: Bashful Blue, Whisper White
Ink: Bashful Blue
Accessories: Bashful Blue Striped Grosgrain ribbon, Word Window punch, jump ring, 1/16 inch circle punch , Swiss Dots Cuttlebug Folder & Big Shot, Stampin' Sponge, Stampin' Dimensionals

My cherry soda card was a fun and challenging card! The frosted glass is sanded Crystal Clear card stock you may find at Flourishes. (If you love to make clear cards, you may want to check this stuff out!!!) I stamped the image from my Petite Phrases, and used it as a glass charm (I've always thought those wine glass charms were really pretty...lol). My cherry and straw, and cream are card stock. My cherry has Crystal Effects on it, so it's nice and shiny. The cream at the top has Liquid Appliqué sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds, and is heated with my heat tool.

Here's the way my cherry soda card opens.

Stamps: Petite Phrases
Card Stock: Crystal Clear (Flourishes), Whisper White, Real Red, Wild Wasabi, Pretty In Pink
Ink: Adirondack Pitch Black, Copic Sketch markers
Accessories: Liquid Appliqué, Dazzling Diamonds, Crystal Effects, jump rings, Large & Small tag punches, Word Window punch, 1/16 circle hand punch, Glue Dots, Tombo Mono Multi glue

Thanks for stopping by today. Enjoy your weekend!!
