This is my challenge card for DCP1207 over at Splitcoaststampers. We were supposed to use a penguin in our design. No blue allowed, and make it icy and glittery.
My Skating Penguin is from Cornish Heritage Farms (Asela's design). The tree is from Tis the Season (Hanna Stamps). The sentiment is from Take a Bough (PaperTrey Ink).
I made my "pond" using a piece of acetate cut with my Oval Nestabilities. I scuffed it up with sandpaper to make it frosty. The ground snow is Liquid Appliqué sprinkled with Dazzling Diamonds and heated to puff. The patterned paper is BasicGrey Figgy (from Jacksonbelle Embellishments at right margin).
I will have to fill in more links and complete recipe later. It's the most wonderful time...of the year (and busy too).
Thanks for stopping by!

Darling card girl, that penguin just puts a smile on my face!!
have a good day!
It's a good thing that you didn't say no "black." I think the penguins would find that insulting.
