Drawing & Christmas Cards

***I will be drawing for the SCS Fan Club memberships, at 6:00 PM eastern. Be sure to check back here later to see if you've won.***

In the meantime...here's what I've been up to.

I am just finishing up my Christmas cards. Mine are usually sent out the first of December, but not this year. Ugh!! Anyhow... here's a few of them.

This adorable House-Mouse Christmas Cottage image was sent to me by a super sweet blogging friend, and I had a lot of fun coloring it! The layout is from the September DD sketch, though it's a bit modified. I used BasicGrey Fruitcake paper from Jacksonbelle Embellishments, and colored it with my Copic Sketch markers. I used my Quickie glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds for the frosting, and the ribbon was a gift from Lindsey. The sentiment is from the SU Circle of Friendship set.

Julie Masse has the most gorgeous Kinkade card at her blog, I had to try it for myself. I used a different image and sentiment, but the colors are the same. I also added a gold organdy ribbon and didn't glaze my windows. Thanks for letting me borrow your design, Julie!!

Ever since I saw this Santa Collage stamp from Rubber Stampede last year, I wanted it. I was unwilling to pay the 'big bucks' at Ebay. I kept an eye on it there, anyhow...and found one for a reasonable price. The designer paper is daisy d's, and this is for Lindsey's product spotlight challenge at SCS. I used my Quickie glue pen and Dazzling Diamonds for the snowflakes, whitened Santa's eyes with my white gel pen, and glazed his glasses with my Crystal effects. I used the SCS Sketch Challenge 68 for my layout.

I needed to get a lot of cards done...and quick! I remembered my leftover SAS kits from last year, and made these up. The Flaky Friends card was already posted a little while back, but I decided to make up some more to send out. All of these cards are SU images.

I will be back later with recipes, if you're interested.

Thanks for visiting!

I am now in search of one of those Santa Collage stamps to add to my collection. I'd never seen it before, but *must* have it...for next year, of course. All of the cards are lovely.

It's understandable--you've been pretty darn busy playing in the dirt pile. I hope to get over there tonight to check out your stuff. I just now got home from work. Lots to do tonight. Boy, am I ever behind the times!
