Falling for Gretel

Now that it has cooled down a bit after the heat wave, I felt like making a Fall card. I used my SU Give Thanks set, and new Cosmo Cricket Gretel paper. I stamped the images with Palette Burnt Umber on Naturals Ivory paper, and watercolored with my Classic inks and Aqua Painter. I also used my clear Spica pen to add sparkle to the leaves. The ribbon is from the Martha Stewart collection, and though it doesn't match perfectly...I thought it gave my card a nice little punch of color. The photo corners were punched with my SU punch in Chocolate Chip, and mounted with Vintage Brads.

Thank you for your visit!

Ink: Palette Burnt Umber, Old Olive, Creamy Caramel, Close to Cocoa, Chocolate Chip, Cranberry Crisp, Clear Spica Glitter pen

What a great seasonal card. Your coloring is amazing. That's my weakest skill. I used to love to color as a kid...but as an adult I seem to have lost those skills!

This is one of those cards that are so perfect, I can't pick out just a single part to compliment. It all came together beautifully: cut out leaves, piercing, coloring, papers, etc.
