Carte-licious

I was asked by Sue, if I wanted to participate in a little blogger's challenge she was putting together. I immediately agreed! She sent myself, and the others in our challenge group, the "Portrait of a Snowman" Whipper Snapper stamped images. When I get the links for the others' challenge cards, I will add them here.

I decided to use Beate's weekend sketch for my layout. The base is Always Artichoke, with a piece of Soft Sky embossed with my Snowflakes Cuttlebug folder & Big Shot. The corners were punched with my Ticket Corner punch. I used Decorative Pearls from Ellen's store for the punched corners (they were colored with my Copic marker before I adhered them). The snowman image was colored with my Copic Sketch markers. I used my Rectangle Spellbinder Dies for the snowman and frame. The small pieces of designer paper are from the Wintergreen collection, and the ribbon is from May Arts. The sentiment is found in the Lizzie Anne Designs Sketched Sentiments set.

Stamps: Portrait of a Snowman (Whipper Snapper), Sketched Sentiments (Lizzie Anne Designs)
Card Stock: Always Artichoke, Soft Sky, Whisper White, Wintergreen (SU designer paper)
Ink: Brilliance Graphite Black, Basic Black, Copic Sketch markers, Spica Clear Glitter pen
Accessories: Cuttlebug Snowflakes Embossing Folder, Spellbinders Rectangle Nestabilities, Big Shot, Decorative Pearls, May Arts Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

Along with the snowman images, Sue also sent this beautiful little card, and some ribbon samples. For a small card, this really 'packs a punch'! It's sooo pretty and detailed. I love the ornare piercing, and the scalloped circle with the pretty flowers from Garden Silhouettes. The patterned paper, ribbon and bling look so lovely!! Thanks so much for including me in your blogger's challenge, Sue!

Thanks for visiting, everyone! I really appreciated it, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!
