WSC19

I hope you all had a nice weekend. Thanks to everyone who sent their well-wishes for my son's recovery from surgery. He is doing well, and pretty much back to normal (other than the healing process). Zach had an extra tooth removed, which was located in the bone behind his upper central incisors. The Dr. had to go in through his palate to remove it. I was a bit bummed because they had to use gas and IV sedation. Zach was acting a bit wacky the rest of the day...but slept a lot, and that helped! Anyhow...I made this card for him for being so brave through the whole process. (The tooth fairy was very good to him *wink*).

This card uses Beate's weekend sketch #19. I hope Beate doesn't mind that I changed the orientation so that the boat would fit the sketch. Thanks for another awesome challenge, Beate!

There's nothing complicated to explain. I used my Copic Sketch Markers to color the image, and added sparkle with my Spica Pens. The polka dot ribbon is from Sherbet Ribbon Originals.

Thanks for visiting!

#1 .. It is SO good to hear that your son is bouncing back. And 'good' for those sleepy times too! *wink* Mom's stress should 'never' be underestimated!

Good morning Rose Ann!

Sure hope your son continues on with a speedy recovery! Chloe had some dental work done where they knocked her out and afterwards we noticed her acting a little odd too.

Love your card! Those copic markers sure do look awesome to work with!

Have a fantastic day!

This is so cute, Rose Ann! I bought this set and am still waiting to use it. Don't know what I'm waiting for... I sure love it with the colors you used. I'm so glad your son is feeling better. That was quite the ordeal--through his palate--wow! I'll bet you're both glad it's done now!
