WSC18

It's time for Beate's weekend sketch again. I love doing her sketches...can you tell? Lol!

I decided to make another Halloween card, and use my neglected Creepy Crawly paper. I also wanted to 'break in' my Batty for You stamp set as well. The curve in the patterned paper is made with the Creative Memories Decorative Trimmer, and the 'medallion' is made using the retired Square Step Punch. I saw Cambria's Medallion/Square Punch Tutorial a while ago, and thought if I made a black one...it would somewhat resemble a web. The Happy Halloween sentiment is from All Holidays. I stamped and punched it out with the Word Window punch. Then I used a 1 3/4 x 5/8 piece of Pumpkin Pie with the corners rounded...as a small mat. The ribbon is May Arts .

Thanks for stopping by today, and have a wonderful weekend! I have more projects almost ready to post, so I'll be showcasing something else before the weekend is over. ;)

Stamps: Batty for You, All Holidays
Card Stock: More Mustard, Basic Black, Whisper White, Pumpkin Pie, Creepy Crawly
Ink: Palette Noir
Accessories: Punches-Corner Rounder, Stair Step, Word Window, 1 1/4 & 1 3/8 Circle; Creative Memories Decorative Trimmer, May Arts Ribbon, Stampin' Dimensionals

I LOVE your faux web! What a fun Halloween card. The spider's rather lovable, if that's possible. Happy Birthday, too, Rose Ann! It's today, isn't it? Sorry your card is late--shame on me. I guess I just didn't realize how close the 6th was to the 8th. Go figure. I need a keeper. I hope you had a beautiful day!

Great card. I love the white trim on the curvy cut, and how you did the sentiment layers. And that medallion is PERFECT behind the spider. So cool!
