Priceless Marigold

Marigold Morning was one of my favorite 'In Colors' from last year's SU collection. I really love it combined with Real Red, and Old Olive. The stamps are from the new Priceless stamp set, and the sentiment is from Short & Sweet. I created the "belt" by cutting a 1" strip of Old Olive, and feeding one end of it through my Key Tag Punch to create the rounded edge. I was thinking of adding some faux stitching to the photo corners, but my DH says the card is busy enough. What do you think?

Thanks for visiting my blog today!

I knew I bought that key tag punch for a reason, now I know why! ;) Thanks for the tip. I like the card as is, so I wouldn't worry about the corners.

I think the stitching on the photo corners would look nice. Punch an extra one and do the stitiching on it and set on top of the one already on the card. See what you think before you are committed.

Oh! Thanks for those flowers they are cool!

I love it, Rose Ann! It's a really cute design. Your DH has almost as good an eye as you. It sounds like he likes things kind of simple and I think that's true of most guys. I love your perfectly rounded cardstock belt. Thanks for the great idea! I've never thought of doing this with the key tag punch. I hope I remember to try it!
