PaperTrey Pumpkin

This doesn't look like an lantern, does it? Well, that is the pattern I used to create this little pumpkin...using the new Spooky Sweets set from PaperTrey Ink. I first saw the lantern pattern at Fran's site, and she has the cutest lanterns made of great patterned papers. I knew I wanted to give it a try. Instead of using designer paper, I used my Pumpkin Pie textured card stock from SU. The little leaves were taken from a little piece of silk ivy I had. I think these would make great little Halloween decorations, and Halloween will be here before we know it.

Thanks for stopping by.

Stamps: Spooky Sweets
Card Stock: Textured Pumpkin Pie, PaperTrey Ink White, Textured Old Olive
Ink: Palette Noir
Accessories: Silk Ivy Leaf, Natural Hemp, Wire Works, Crafter's Tool Kit, 1/2 Inch Circle Punch, 1/16 Circle Hand Punch, Crop-A-Dile, Glue Dots, and Stampin' Dimensionals

How cute! Now just pull out your christmas tree, spray paint it black, and make about 30 more of these! NOT! Very, very cute though!

What a cute way to use those paper lanterns! Did you send it in to Papertrey for their Guest Star stamper this month. I think it could be a winner. It's so creative.
