Challenge Break

I decided to take a break from challenges to make this simple little card. I really like this color combination of Wild Wasabi, Real Red, and Brocade Blue. The image is called Sun Flower from Lockhart Stamp Co. (found at Ellen's store). I used StazOn Jet Black to stamp the image on Naturals White, then colored with my Aqua Painter. The sentiment is from Flourished Words by Flourishes (a brand new company with some of my favorite super star designers on the team). I highlighted some areas with my Gelly Roll Stardust Pen to add a little sparkle. The scallops were created using the new corner rounder punch from SU.

Thanks for visiting today!

Stamps: Sun Flower (Lockhart Stamp Co.), Flourished Words (Flourishes)
Card Stock: Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Brocade Blue, Naturals White
Ink: StazOn Jet Black, Wild Wasabi, Real Red, Brocade Blue, More Mustard, Bashful Blue
Accessories: Paper Piercer and Mat, Light Blue Gingham Ribbon, Aqua Painter, Corner Rounder Punch (SU new)

Great colours together. I don't often use red because I don't know how to pair it up. Thanks for the inspiration!! Your watercolouring is awesome!

This is so pretty! Love how you colored the Lockhart stamp, and I agree the color combo is great! And you already bought something from Flourishes... I need to order the cake set - you know I love decorating cakes, now I can decorate them on a card. :-)

Oh, this is a sweet color combo! I haven't used the Wasabi much yet, but you've made it look so soft and pretty on your card. What a gorgeous little stamp and the Flourished "friend" goes so well with the feminine design. I love how you made those little scallops with the new corner rounder. Lots of fabulous stuff on this card, Rose Ann!
