FIL Father's Day

I made this card for my father-in-law for Father's Day. I modified an awesome tutorial I saw at Dawn's blog (thanks Dawn! You rock, GF!) Scoring this was so easy, because I used my new super awesome Scor-Pal. Cambria has been telling us how awesome this tool is, and I can say that I agree with her! Click on the Scor-Pal link above, or at my sidebar to go directly to the site. There's lots of cool tutorials given by some of our finest crafters out there, and lots samples to boot.

Okay...now back to the card. My kids are very active, and I think sometimes my FIL thinks they're a bunch of animals...ha, ha! This is why I decided to use my little monkeys from my new Zoofari set. The designer paper is Au Chocolat from SU. I used my Karen Foster Mini Casual Snap Stamps to personalize the greeting inside. The kids will use the blank area on the right of the monkeys, to write their messages to Grandpa.

Remember to click the image if you would like to use the zoom feature. You may want to zoom on the second image, because it's much smaller.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! Have a wonderful day!!

This is fantastic! Those monkeys crack me up, esp when I saw you named them for your kids. LOVE that they're swinging around on the rope.
