Sunflowers SC126

I actually started this card yesterday for the challenge at SCS, but finally finished it today. I don't know if I'll upload it over there though...because I'm not sure if the cut-out flower breaks the "rules". I used all SU products to create this, and it's one of the few flower sets I have left that didn't retire.

This is the first time I've used my Serene Sunflowers set. I'm not sure that the Palette 'O Prints paper matches that well, but I left it there anyhow. The sentiment is embossed with Dark Brown embossing powder, and the flower is "glitterfied" with Dazzling Diamonds (hard to tell in the picture). I dry embossed the leaves on the So Saffron layer with Bodacious Boquet Classy Brass, since I didn't stamp any leaves with the flowers. That sure took a little while (I've been cheating with Cuttlebug embossing folders lately, instead of using my Classy Brass. Bad girl...ha, ha.)

I'm feeling a bit better today, so I'm hoping my energy will return so that I can do my late-night stamping that I love.

Thanks for visiting today!

Oh, my gosh, Rose Ann! This is fabulous! Love the dry embossing--I thought it was embossed designer paper--so cool! The colors are so soothing and the Palette o' Prints looks perfect with the sunflowers. Really beautiful!
