Arturo Petal Print

Cindy Lyles has the most amazing note card set she made, at her blog. She gives details of how she did the watercolor stamping, and it has to be the prettiest I've ever seen!! I decided that I wanted to try the technique as well. I used the same stamp set, Petal Prints, but I used a different flower and colors. The note card is a very pale pink color with such a lovely texture, purchased at Ellen's store. I'm trying to decide if I need to lose the ribbon.

Blog candy is coming soon. Thanks for visiting!

All materials used are SU!, with the exception of the note card.

Stamps: Petal Prints, Much Appreciated
Card stock: Pale Pink Arturo cards & Envies ( from Ellen's store)
Inks: Cameo Coral classic pad, VersaMark , Stampin' Write markers: Cameo Coral, Ruby Red, Always Artichoke
Accessories: Glassy Glaze Embossing powder & Heat Tool, Olive Organdy ribbon, water spritzer (old Stampin' Mist bottle filled with tap water)

This is gorgeous! Love the simplicity, glossy flowers and the pale pink card.

if it matters, and this is just MY opinion, i would lose the ribbon...i find it a bit distracting from the clean simplicity of this elegant card. thanks for the inspiration, i may have just found my MIL funeral thank you cards.
