Marigold Butterfly

I decided to try the baby-wipe technique for the sky when I saw a Hallmark card with the same look. This is a 4x4 card. I used SU Bashful Blue and Brocade Blue re-inkers, and wiped across the glossy cardstock with the inked baby wipe. This card uses the Butterfly Kisses (from PaperTrey Ink)for the images, and the sentiment is from SU Fancy Flexible Phrases (from the Winter mini). The flower stems and grass are created using the stem from Paper Tray by PaperTrey Ink. The butterfly is embossed with detail black embossing powder on Marigold Morning cardstock (both SU). Other inks are Craft White (SU) and ColorBox Petal Point Fluid Chalk Brights & Subtles retired from SU. The antennae for the butterfly is created using the wire works kit from SU.

Stamp sets: Butterfly Kisses, Paper Tray, Fancy Flexible Phrases
Cardstock: Bashful Blue, Glossy White, Marigold Morning
Inks: Bashful Blue, Brocade Blue, VersaMark, Craft White, Brights & Subtles retired SU Color Box fluid chalk inks, Basic Black
Accessories: Detail Black embossing powder, ½" circle punch, Spring Bouquet Flower Punch, white organdy ribbon, wire works, glue dots, stampin' dimensionals

What a fancy little butterfly and a sweet, sweet card! You got a very nice look with the baby wipe technique. I haven't tried that yet. So many ideas to try!

I thought the sky background was patterned paper! You did a fabulous job with the baby wipe technique. Love it!
