I Stamped

Gosh...it's been so long since I've been here, I feared I'd forgotten how this all worked.  I guess I've done it enough in the past...the cobwebs in my brain didn't hinder me too much.

I've shocked myself, and actually stamped a couple of cards after an almost three-month hiatus from stamping.  I'm not really sure why I'm keeping this blog, other than the fact that it's a good collection of my creations over the years.  ☺ 

My mother's birthday is tomorrow, and I wanted to stamp a card for her.  I've kept the card CAS, and have used my Serene Silhouettes for the main image.  The sentiment is from the Well Scripted set, and the image is framed with my Spellbinders Floral Oval die.

Stamps:  Serene Silhouettes (SU), Well Scripted (SU)

Card Stock:  Pear Pizzazz, Blushing Bride, White, The All About Girls Stack (DCWV)

Ink:  Pear Pizazz, Blushing Bride, Regal Rose

Accessories:  Oval & Floral Oval Spellbinders dies, Blushing Bride Pleated Satin Ribbon, Foam Tape  

Always a fan of one-layers cards, I thought I would try one of those as well.  This time I'm using my Insightful Meadows set from Unity, and some Pool Party card stock.

Ink:  Pool Party, Early Espresso

Accessories:  Corner Chomper, Color Spritzer

Trendy Tree Birthday

Hello everyone!  Today I have a card that I've made using my Trendy Tree Tops Dies from PaperTrey Ink.  I have the stamp set as well, but when I stamped the tree top with my Simply Chartreuse ink, I found it to be awful (like many of my PTI inks).  I decided to use my dies instead, and stamped the sentiment with my SU Lucky Limeade (even tho it doesn't match that well).  The pretty rectangle frame is a Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles die.  The ribbon was pulled through my little Xyron Mini (love that thing!) to adhere to my card.

Birthday Skater Dude

I needed boys' birthday card for another nephew, so I grabbed the Pure Innocence Skater Boy from My Favorite Things to create this.  This card was made a while back (when I still had the Archaic BasicGrey papers out), and I used what papers were on my desk.

Halloween Feline

Today I'm back with a Halloween card that I've created using the Frightening Feline SU stamp.  I decided to add some Googlies, and a bead for a nose.  The embossing was done using the Spiderweb Cuddlebug embossing folder.  I can hardly believe Halloween is almost here...can you?  We've been so busy with karate and cross country, and the season is flying by!

Monster Birthday

 It's so close to Halloween, that I made this monster birthday card for my nephew.  My monster is stamped on Cajun Craze, and I colored the dots with Spectrum Noir Markers.  The horns, eyeball, and mouth were all stamped on white, colored, and pieced onto the monster.  The paper is from The Green Stack (DCWV Inc.)
